During Saturday afternoons in the cellar, couples take a tour of the winery while learning about the process of winemaking. They taste a sample straight from the barrel and enjoy a flight of wines with food pairings inside the candlelit barrel room. The event draws to a close with a full glass of wine for each attendee.
Resident winemakers lead the two-hour wine-blending workshop and help guests understand what makes the three types of red-wine samples unique. Attendees blend, taste, and craft their own wines, which they will then bottle and cork themselves before creating custom, hand-drawn labels. Finally, classmates sit down for a four-course family-style dinner of seasonal dishes made in house, with wine pairings for each course.
