The Scouting Report
Going for their first playoff appearance since the 2009–10 season, the Skyforce land back on the Sioux Falls Arena floor for five February home games. In January, when the majority of local basketballs are being used to form perfect snowman heads, forward Demetris Nichols used unfrozen basketballs like an all-star, earning Performer of the Week honors for his efforts during a three-game stretch in the middle of the month. He averaged 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists during that trio of games—all Skyforce victories—propelling the team to second place in the Central Division.
