Run MS: A Spooktacular 5K: Admission + T-Shirt

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who like to run, and those who wish they liked to run. Fit into the former category -- all for a great cause -- with today's deal from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Spend $15 for admission to the Connecticut Chapter's fall-themed 5K, which includes a T-shirt and admission to an after-party with refreshments and more (a $30 value). At 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, join the community to raise awareness for MS and walk, jog, or sprint the mostly flat course at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. In the spirit of Halloween, don your favorite costume; prizes will be awarded to the scariest, funniest, and most original ensembles, in addition to cash prizes for top runners. After the race, runners will receive a witch hat, have the opportunity to decorate a pumpkin, take home a bag of Halloween-themed popcorn, and enjoy some locally-grown apples.
