Entertainment Package at Reno Casino Hotel

Luxury Hotel with World-Class Casino and Award-Winning Restaurants

In terms of its sheer size and various accolades, Reno’s Eldorado Hotel Casino can hold its own against some of Las Vegas’s largest gaming resorts. Its 81,000-square-foot casino, voted “The Luckiest Place to Gamble” by the Reno Gazette-Journal, offers high-stakes poker games, 1,300 slots, and a brand-new Race & Sports Book venue. Nine restaurants are onsite, including two Wine Spectator award winners. And as part of this getaway, you’ll get to see one of Eldorado’s theatrical productions in a Broadway-style show room: the musical Aladdin and His Lamp, which features 3-D effects, runs through January 13, and the Cirque-inspired show Magique debuts on January 22.

Eldorado Hotel Casino houses nine signature restaurants where butchers cut meat and seafood, pastry chefs bake desserts from scratch every day, and brewers blend eight custom beers onsite. Roxy, one of three fine-dining restaurants, has won awards from Distinguished Restaurants of North America for six years running. Here, you can enjoy bistro-inspired entrees such as BBQ beef short ribs and wood-fired grilled swordfish, or try one of 102 versions of stiff martinis in its live music lounge. At La Strada, chefs from Milan make fresh pasta every day and prepare rustic Italian fare, such as spaghetti and veal meatballs and chicken parmigiana.

The hotel is also a lively nightlife spot that includes laid-back beer pubs and dance clubs with bottle service. At Cin Cin Bar & Lounge, cocktails are made with fresh-squeezed juices and hand muddled. You can choose from 80 beers from around the world at Stadium Bar. BuBinga Lounge—with its live music and VIP service—is the place to be Friday and Saturday nights. Meanwhile, big-name performers take the stage at Eldorado’s Broadway-style show room, including comedian Lewis Black and legendary rock band The Who.

Reno: Casino City with Arts and Outdoor Adventure

Reno lives up to its billing as “The Biggest Little City in the World" thanks to its flashy casinos, cultural centers, and restaurants worthy of a much larger metropolis, all packed together on Virginia Street. If you need a break from courting Lady Luck at the big gaming palaces such as Circus Circus and Harrah's (which was born here), head to the Truckee River Arts District to explore the Nevada Museum of Art and the National Automobile Museum. Because of its location at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and just east of Tahoe National Forest, the city also puts visitors within reach of rushing rivers and high mountain ranges for hiking, rafting, and gold-rush reenacting.
