Owner and professional baker Chris Porter leads groups of no more than 10 students through the intricacies of the pie-making process. Armed with personal attention and all of the necessary ingredients, students learn how to bake each month’s seasonal dessert selections. Along with mastering baking techniques and preparation steps, students will also be gifted with espresso from Caffè Umbria, ice cream from Bluebird Microcreamery, and tastings from A La Mode pies. Classes run from 7 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
