Four-Week Acting Class

For the most part, all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players -- but in New York, the roles vary and competition is stiff for the best ones. Score the parts you want with help from The Actors Corner in Hell's Kitchen. Pay $90 for four weeks of once-weekly, two-hour film and TV acting class taught about award-winning SAG members (a $185 value). The school works closely with heralded directors, agents, casting directors, and more to teach the ins and outs of the craft, including cold-reading techniques that are designed to help you book work. Actors of all levels will hone their chops, build confidence, pick up insider tips, and rub elbows with showbusiness pros during these hands-on sessions. And with classes being held from 2 to 4 p.m. or 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, 4:30 to 6:30 on Tuesdays, or noon to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, you'll have plenty of opportunity to ready for your big break -- which could be around the corner in this town.
