I C&P'd this from H4F, which is usually pretty accurate and reliable. I can't find any concrete information as to the value, so I emailed the company to see what they say. Gimmiefreebies says it for a trial sample (small bag?) If it is a $1 off, then Friskies should have stated so since the get-go, 'trial' often means 'free'. I raised this issue in my email, will post if/when they reply. Friskies is a Purina company, and Purina has done free trials of Purina One, and they were snail-mailed coupons for free bags, so it's understandable that this is interpreted as being the same.
I did not get a reply from them, but one of the issues I raised, was that the website did not make clear what the value of the coupon is. It appears they have now added the value (perhaps in response to my inquiry) and have now clarified the value. Being that this is now a cents off coupon (though a very good one at $2), I will ask the mods to move this to the grocery forums and I will change the title.

right, that is a 3.15lb bag. If you really do have cats, the 16lb bag for $7.99 ac at PETsMART was a good deal. that is 5 small bags at SR. so it actually comes out cheaper.
($2.99 ac for 1 3.15 lb bag or $7.99 for one 16lb bag = to 5 small bags) Yep, have a cat, but we buy in bulk from BJ's....love our cat...she just captured and killed a mouse (inside our house) the other night. WOOOHOO
