The very worse company ever! They are just plain horrible with Customer service. They screwed up my trip, and then cancelled it without my permission, and on top of that, charged me $100 per person for the cancellation! I had to dispute them through my credit card. SCREW EXPEDIA FOR LIFE!

I've had great experiences with Expedia, I've booked 5 trips through them, whether it's vehicle rental, hotel or airflight - it's been perfect! I've even received some free magazines (during a special deal) for booking online. Their rates are usually equal or better than calling the vendor directly. Recently I booked a deal in Carmel, CA that was 25% cheaper than when I called the resort directly - can't beat that!

I couldn't agree with ktscott01 more. Expedia has the most worst coustomer service that I have ever seen. I recently booked both my flights and cruise trips for my friend and myself via expedia.com. For an unknown reason, the return flight date was wrong. I tried to change it online but at the last step, it rejected my credit card. I called for assistant to solve the issue couple times but its staff kept asking for $60 to do it for me and refused to tell me what's wrong with their tool. Finally, I gave up to change it myself and was willing to pay $60 processing fee. But this time, the customer service told me that I have to pay more than $1000 difference for my return date changed. This is insane. At that time if I bought the same trip on the correct return date online, it would only cost $390! How dare they asked me for over $1000!? I told her that I saw the difference was $142 total for two persons based on their online trip modification tool but but the customer service kept saying that I was seeing the out of date data. I then followed her instruction and tried to see the over $1000 difference charge but I DID NOT SEE. I logout and re-login to change my return flight and got the consistent result which was $142 extra charge only. However, she refused to listen to me. I ended up to buy a return flight at $160 each person which is much better than the over $1000 charge for changing my return flight that Expedia customer service offered me! I feel extremely upset and stupid for wasting my time to ask their customer service assistant and testing their online trip modification tools.
You will spend hours trying to get things corrected with them. They will not give out any email addresses or difect phone #'s so you have to call and go thru the same customer service everytime and it takes way too much time.
The get an F- on customer service. I'd go lower if I could.

I have used Expedia numerous times for Hotel accomodations and airline bookings. I have been more than satisfied every time. Never a hassle. In fact I am there today looking for a hotel room in Vegas. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.
