I think Amazon is great overall. Their customer service was excellent the one time I had to call them. Email service can take longer, but works too. They have really competitive pricing if one buys with free shipping.

amazon.com sells pro pedophilia propaganda.If you would like to see if this is true look up a book called "Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers" by David Riegel.
Disgusting that amazon.com sells this trash.Especially when they are"proud partners" of ToysRus,BabiesRus and Target.
I will not have my dollar going in the same pocket as the dollar made from this sick book.

Overall, I had good purchasing experiences with Amazon. Their delivery system is great, their customer service is very friendly and answers quickly. I really like their descriptions and customer reviews for each product.

The only thing that prevents me from buying from them every time is the prices. Sometimes it is not the lowest.

The bad news is that I have had to contact Amazon's customer service a few times. The good news is that their customer service is exemplary. Any problem I may have had was addressed quickly, professionally and cheerfully. This is something that is very hard to find, especially with online merchants. While at times their prices are not always the absolute best to be found, I am, however, willing to pay a little extra knowing that if anything goes wrong that their customer service will correct it without any annoyances.

I tried to change an order just 4 or 5 minutes after placing it. I was not allowed to change or cancel the order, only view it even though I had selected the slowest shipping method. I think that they should allow customers to change or cancel orders for at least an hour after they receive the order confirmation e-mail. Well, I guess I'll be able to test out their return policy.

The three best words for Amazon are PROBLEM FREE SHOPPING!!!!....If you want great selection, great prices, and speedy delivery then start here and avoid elsewhere. Most of all, their Customer Support is exactly that...Can't beat service with a smile!

I shop at Amazon frequently, probably because its the easiet place to earn gift certificates. Usually I only shop there if they have an exceptional deal, but if I'm trying to order something quickly Amazon would be where I would go. More often than not if you're looking for something Amazon has it. Placing my order was easy and problem free. My order was promptly shipping.

i just started buying from amazon.com.. I usually dont purchase items off-line but Amazon's prices were not extremely high so I decided I'd give it a try. I bought a book off line. Expecting it to be a week and a half or more.. about 4 days after purchasing my book, I received it in the mail! Man was I surprised. Not only do they have fast shipping, once you find the phone number for Amazon Customer Support, they are very friendly and fixed my problem right away. Out of 10 I'd give them a 10/10. They are quick to restock items and very friendly. Thanks Amazon! I dont like Gold Box heh

I've shopped at amazon.com since shortly after they started with satisfaction. It was a repuable merchant that was shiping out orders before deadlines. But it wasn't so for the last 2 products I ordered from their electronics dept. just over the last month. Is it a decline in their service? High volume? Others, please comment.
The most frustrating and unexpected was for a Canon scaner that "usually ships in 24h". It's already been almost a week since I palced the order and my card was charged. Today it would have been delivered .. only if it were shipped. I spoke twice to the customer support - no much help - they blame UPS tracking system for nonaccuracy, advice to seek the package from UPS and refer to amazon's delivery estimetes, which for 24h shipping/processing and ground service (3-5 days) is 2.5- 3x extra = 11-17 days.

The point is that my c.card was charged, the product isn't shipped and they do not want to admit it and so far have only hassled me around. Have been suggesed "to wait" and see, contact another dept., contact another company (UPS), well, the usual BS of a sleazy retailer. I never got confirmation email for shipping. The parcel is not in the UPS system; only "billing information received". The item had obviously not been shipped. My c.card was charged almost a week ago. I'm seeking for resolution.
