Amazon is the gold standard for Internet retailers. I don't know why there are such negative posts here. I've never had a better experience with an online store. I ordered an iBook last week and the shipping date range was 7 days. I called them on the first day of that range and they expedited my order to go the next day and upgraded me to free next day air shipping for free!

You can't beat Amazon for selection, description, and ease of use. Since they've been around, I've never made a book/CD/gadget purchase without consulting their user reviews. They rock the mike!

I can not say a good word of Amazon.
They hide their consumer service phone. They never responde my question asked by email.
I still not receive an order I placed on 3 months ago. The estimate date changes several times. Now it is beyond the estimate date. I still not receive.

Really terrible customer service, Only one is worse than them, the name is At&T. It's a shame that they dare not post their phone # on the web.
Think 10 times before you do bussiness with them!

I placed an order 10days before, they keep changing the shipping date. And the customer service is also rude. They just told me either to cancel it or to wait.

Amazon's shipping has really improved over the past months. In the past two weeks I have ordered two items, both with their free shipping option; one came in two days, the next came within four days. Amazon is starting to become my favorite online merchant-good show Amazon!

I've ordered from Amazon.com on four different occasions. Each time, my product came in within two weeks. The earliest I received one item was, about 4 days (ordered on a monday, received item on fri).

I was also able to receive credit for a price adjustment on two items that I ordered, with no problems at all. I emailed their customer service, and they replied back to me within a day. They credited me for both items, and my credit card was credited within 3 days.

Price adjustment possible!
Ordered a skillet recently, then the next day, the price dropped. So I called the number posted here in this thread, and voila! the CSR recredited the price difference! No hassle at all. Thumbs up, Amazon!

They're kidding right! If you need something in a week or 2 weeks don't order from Amazon, my experience is that it takes about a month to 2 months to receive an item. You may not recieve it at all! Customer service is nonexistent. Good Luck!

Overall I think Amazon is a great safe place to buy. Specially when it comes to cell phones, rather going to A1Wireless or other online retailers, I trust my money with Amazon. Their shipment time is just great. They always ship by the date they promised.
Recently I purchased some cell phones from them and there is a price drop now. I called the 800 number. But, customer service can't help me because price adjustment for cell phones go to their cell phone department which is closed on weekends. I don't want to wait till Monday to talk to someone. I tried emailing them using above email 'orders-reply@Amazon.com '. But, I got an auto reply from Amazon which stated that this isn't the correct email to correspond with customer service.Would someone here have another Amazon customer service email address?? Thanks.
