DO NOT BUY FROM Sony! I ordered, got a CONFIRMATION, bought several accessories, & 2 WEEKS LATER they CANCELLED MY MAIN ORDER! Now I have all these accessories & they jacked up the price of the main unit $500. JERKS!

Sony laid off the entire USA sales team and now they have the Canadian sales team communicating with the San Diego, CA warehouse. Since this has happened, their customer service has become absolutely terrible. We place orders for about 100 laptops per month with Sony and I can tell you from experience that Sony is now losing orders and they are not shipping on a first come first serve basis anymore. Here are some examples: We order gray SR590 on 12/2/2009 and it had estimated ship date of 12/16. On 12/16 the status changes to order update estimated ship date 12/23. From 12/26 to 1/5 we call them 3 times and they tell us each time there is a backorder for a part and we tell them their answer is scripted and that the real problem is that the warehouse has either lost the order or has not received it. We request but they refuse to provide expedited shipping to the order past due. We order the same gray SR590 with the same config on 12/30 and it ships and is delivered on 1/11. We then had to cancel the old order from 12/2. Also, on 12/27 we order 2 black SR590 and on 12/29 we order the same 2 black SR590 with identical configuration. The order from 12/29 ships as scheduled. However, the order from 12/27 changes on 1/5 from estimated ship date 1/5 to order update estimated ship date 1/26. We had to cancel that order also since the sales team in Canada is unable to communicate directly with the warehouse in San Diego. We used to have a sales rep assigned to us but he was laid off and then his replacement also laid off when Sony completed their outsourcing of their entire sales team to Canada. Sony has the absolute worst logistics as well. We will receive an email saying the order is in production and then receive an email later that it is on backorder. Also, the tracking numbers never work and many times the expensive laptops are left at the door with no signature required. Sony will need to get a handle on their customer support, logistics and shipping in a hurry if they wish to secure future business from us and from the other customers who will likely have misfortune dealing with them.

Bought a Refurb TV. DB Shenker damaged the TV during shipping. Called Sony asking for an exchange, was told to ship the TV back and call back for exchange. 1 month later, after multiple phone calls and hours of being put on hold, I was told they will not exchange my TV since it was a Refurb. If I still want the TV now, I will have to repurchase it again which is $1000 more... Like everyone said, extremely POOR customer service!

I also ordered a 46'' Sony bravia LCD.
I have been waiting for 14 days. Until today, DB schenker said Sony did not even ship the TV.
Filed complains to Sony, but no one care about it.
Who knows how long will it take for them to figure out where is the TV.

Never shop in SonyStyle again !!!

Ordered a 46" Sony Bravia LCD that had free shipping form Sony Style. Sony used DB Shenker for delivery service and is supposed to be to your doorstep. We live in an aprtment and I spoke to the customer service contact for the delivery service when arranging the time and they assured me it would be delivered to my apt doorstep. Sure enough the deliver guy came and was going to leave the TV on the street. My wife had to beg him to help get it into our building lobby. She then had to drag it to the elevator and apt all on her own. The guy also had the nerve to threaten her that if he got a ticket while supposedly helping, we would be responsible for the ticket??? I will never order from Sony Style again because of this and if I was present I would have canceled the order all together and went to a store and picked it up myself!

ordered a new laptop from Sony during their 5% Cash Back promotion on Dec 15, item was never shipped. Inquired about item on Dec 31, was then told on Jan 2, 2009 that the color I order was no longer available and my order was canceled. Funny thing was, my credit card was charged, no updates were sent for over 2 weeks, and Sony's website is still actively promoting the item as available. Sony's customer service is horrible, I was unable to get hold of anyone to talk to by phone for over 7 days, and for each day i spent at least 45 minutes holding on the phone. when i ask to be contacted by phone, Sony simply ignored my request.

Perfect in every way! Free shipping; fast via Fedex. Will shop again! Love Sony products. Superior laptop displays; worth every penny. Purchased a brand new FW series laptop - a Christmas gift for my Dad. I see others had negative experiences, but don't be fooled, they are clearly idiots... all I can say to them is don't buy refurbished thinking your saving a few bucks, expecting NEW... AND don't buy items you can't pay for upfront with money in the bank - looks like some people complain about nonsense when their credit app gets denied or their refurb product isn't new.

I had a similar experience whereby I placed an order but I never got a confirmation. When I checked the next day, the item is still in my cart. I called Sony customer service to get an explanation and after being on hold for over 30 mins. I finally hung up. Fortunately we have a Sony store here in Indianapolis so I just went to the store to purchase the item but it would have been nice to get the FW Cash Back. I don't recommend SonyStyle.com.

Ordered an AM/FM CD Stereo on Friday night - received on Monday morning via free FedEx 2 day shipping - Crazy fast - faster than Amazon Prime. High quality just like in the store - but 30.00 cheaper than Wal-Mart and free shipping - no sales tax. All in all a great experience - way to go SonyStyle!
