Prices are on par with most other companies that offer the same types of products..
its unfortunately "deceptive" that they tack on an "ADDRESS FEE" $2.99 for all shipments.. thus negating most savings... on top of inflated shipping costs.
Otherwise nice site, and the quality seems to be ok... will update comments after we receive items.

i ordered because there was a whole lot of freebies for just ordering something for 6 or 7 bucks. the item for 6 or 7 bucks was ok...not godive quality or anything close and it was 4 chocolate pieces....soo not worth it but i figgured i would get 2 other boxes with goodies... The one that i wasnt crazy about the truffles, came and they sucked...i had to throw away more than half the box as they were not tasty. the other box of goodies never came because they had made an error and offered it to me. soooooo i had paid for shipping for my 4 chocolate bonbons, and i got a box of crap. not too much money but 12 bucks for almost nothing!? sooo not worth it and the quality would be hard to beat even the 1$ school fund raising chocolate. its saying swiss colony, but they lost the swiss value and just retained the colony. i cant imagine in colonial times great chocolate.

I've ordered several items from them over the last 3 years with mostly good results. Their bakery items a very good quality however their meat items are not. On any item I had a problem with, all I had to do was notify them what the problem was ( I didn't like it, poor quality, etc. ) & they promptly refunded my money & apologized for the problem, no questions asked. Their prices & shipping can be a little high unless you get a special from them. On a side note; on my last order from them they were out of stock on a free item for my order so they sent the free item a couple of weeks later at no extra charge & gave me a $10.00 credit for a future order! Overall I would recommend this store based on my own results from them since if I get something from them that I didn't like I can get a refund for it & do not even have to send it back to them ( no return shipping charges & thats a good thing.... ).

Based on about a dozen separate shipments over a three year span, Swiss Colony belongs near, if not at, the bottom rung of online vendors.
For example: they sometimes add extra shipping charges to the total AFTER sending e-mail confirmations which supposedly indicate total charges and items ordered. They have charged me different amounts for identical orders—on the same day. You cannot count on their e-mail confirmations to accurately represent total charges and items shipped.
Also, if there is a toll free number, it is not easily (if at all) available on their webpage.
But worst of all, the food quality is erratic and almost always overpriced. I’ve given up and will not order again.
