I was about to order until I did some web searches on 5starselectronics. Things really seem as bad as they sound. You can take a look at some photographs of the "store" they are selling from here: http://www.donwiss.com/pictures/BrooklynStores/h0048.htm See numbers 47 48 and 63! LOL. It seems like the return address is not even accepting returns.

I haven't bought anything from these guys, thanks to the comments above. But, from what they are doing it is illegal and they should be prosecuted and prevented from doing business on the web. For birdhouse 11 (and others) I did a whois lookup on the owners of the domain to find the true owners of the site. They registered at register.com and their address info is:
Aga Electronics Inc. 122 Ave. T Brooklyn, NY 11223 US Phone: 718 714 0800 Email firstname.lastname@example.org
Now, the only thing left is to report this to your State Attorney General Office that they are engaging in false advertisment (a federal crime).
Hope that helps.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with 5starselectronics. They would not sell at the advertised price. They add tons of unneccessary fees like $995 for a 3 year warranty on a plasma TV. They claim shipping is $199 on the site nad then add $395 for insurance without you approving it.
STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SCAM. They are rude on the phone to the point of verbally abusing you if you did not agree to their terms. They flat out refuse to sell at the advertised price and good luck fighting them with your credit card company.

Same thing here.
Placed an order for a Vaio TR3 and they called to offer extended warranty and accessories. After declining the "offer" they said they will ot sell the laptop that cheap and cancelled the order under " out of stock" .

I ordered a Sony 360GZ laptop from them based on their advertised price ($1999) being $50 less than other sites. The next day I get a message to call them to verify the order. The guy pushes a 3 yr warranty for $499. I say no and he says, "Well, if it is still profitable for us to ship it to you then we will." I ask him about this and he explains that this is a business and they can't ship anything that is below cost for them. I understand that and that is why you should determine how much you can sell something for before advertising it. After I told him I would file a complaint with the better business bureau he says, "Others have tried but this is is just a website and we aren't registered with the BBB under this name. You don't know what our storefront name is so it will be like you are complaining about nothing." He then says, "Look, you can go to Best Buy and pay $2599 for this laptop or buy it from me with the warranty for $2499 and not have to pay sales tax." Yea right. What's a 3 year warranty worth from a guy like that?
