I wanted to order two knitting books for my mother before Christmas. I payed by CC so I have a Billing Address AND a shipping address. I travel to my parent's house five hours away hopeful that the books will arrive before Christmas. Well they didn't so shortly after Christmas I called them, and they said they shipped one of the books to the address I provided and the other one was out of stock. Well it turns out they shipped the book to my billing address, my appartment far away. So to fix the situation he said he'll send the book he already shipped to my shipping address, and I bought a different book that was in stock, making sure I wouldn't get double billed for shipping. (I didn't).
Well the newly purchased book arrive at my parent's house before I left at the end of the holiday but still no copy of the book they sent to my appartment, (even though my complex had already sent that book back, they hold packages for two weeks then sends back... the bastards) I called again and the guy rushed me off the phone, and said he'll look into it personally. I trust he will.
Summary: I was able to purchase a book online that they did not have in stock, and shipped one of the two books without notice to me... I would have found out when the one book arrived. -Not Great would have perferred a call or email in order to buy a different book-
They ignored my shipping address and sent to my billing address... near Christmas that's a bad idea.
Mom did not get all of her Christmas presents yet, and it's January 8th 2004.
If you order from them, stay on their back. I think the store is run out of their basement, and their teenager fills the orders.
