I ordered a Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Autofocus Lens for $349. They made me call to reconfirm the order and tried to sell me a Sigma lens instead. I declined and confirmed my order yesterday May 31, 2007. The next day I received an email (posted below) from Expresscameras.com 1090 King George Post Rd Edison, NJ 08837 Tel 800-772-0136 Apparently I am not the first to experience this problem with Expresscameras.com Please see this link from the Attorney General’s office of New Jersey, Pricegrabber.com and resellerratings.com http://www.nj.gov/oag/newsreleases06/pr20061130a.html http://www.pricegrabber.com/rating_getreview.php/retid=250 http://www.resellerratings.com/forum/showthread.php?t=103621&page=7

CROOKS, I can't fully express my regret for not researching this store before buying from them. How they remain in business seems like a puzzle until one realizes they intentionally ship you an item that you didn't buy at an astronomical shipping charge. You have to return the item and find out that shipping charges are not refundable. I lost TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS in shipping charges that should have cost eighty two dollars. BUYER BEWARE DFB

These guys are a bunch of grey-market scam artists!
They pulled the bait and switch on mo when I tried to order a $900.00 camcorder.
They sent me an email and said I had to confirm my order... when I called they state that I need to order all the standard accessories that normally come with the camcorder seperately.
They claim they have a wholesale connection from overseas so they can buy the camera as a stand alone... blah blah blah.
I downloaded the manual and called Panasonic (the manufacturer) and the camera should only be sold with a full compliment of accessories.
Again, these people are scam artists and I urge you not to patronize them. By the way, their web site is not SSL encrypted... it is not secure.

This company has got to get their act together. I just ordered an Olympus C-5060 for $399.00. As per prior comments, I received their e mail requiring my calling them to confirm the order. On the first call, waited only 11 minutes to be disconnected. The second call answered promptly. I was advised for this price, no lithium battery and no charger. Also for the 512mb card $369.00 (current internet price $199). I refused to play their game and cancelled the order.

Tried to buy a Nikon D70 from this store (they had a great price and said it was in stock when no one else has it). Shortly after i bought it I got an e-mail saying I had to call to confirm my order. I called and the voice mail system said they were closed (no reason was given as to why) for monday and tuesday. When I finally got ahold of someone to speak with (AFTER 45 MINUTES ON HOLD) they told me this was Body only - no charger, no manual, no battery. When I asked how much for the battery and the charger they said $199 for the battery and $199 for the charger. You can buy the battery for $20 almost anywhere online.
Beware, these people are scam artists. Do not buy from them.

I want anyone who might order from this company, to beware! I found a camera, with a great price, and called to order. I talked to a sales person and they told me everything that came with that camera for the price they were advertising. When I called the next day to order, the person told me something completely different...not anything that was told to me the day before. I complained a little and then went ahead and ordered...a confirmation was emailed to me and I called to confirm. The next week, I called to trace my camera and found out they cancelled my order and if I wanted to re-order I would have to order a larger package that cost $300 more because they didn't have any of the others left. I did NOT order from them and did tell them that I would write a bad review of their business transactions. Stay away from this store..or whatever it is. Lisa

Website omits important information. In my case, it didn't state that the price was for a camera outside the U.S. They then tried to sell me a U.S. camera for more money. I had placed the order over the internet and when I realized the camera came w/nothing (not even software, manual -nothing but the camera) I called and canceled the order. I then requested an email verifying the canceled order and that my credit card info would not be used. No reply. "Gentleman" I talked to on the phone was rude and condescending! BEWARE of ExpressCameras.
