I paid $109 for next day shipping. It took 6 days and they would refund only $40. I ordered PS2 mouse and keyboard. They shipped USB (non-working, flimsy as hell). Poor assembly -- cables blocking all available drives and most PCI slots. The case was advertised as not requiring tools. Only the glass side panel is removable and it's held in place by 3 tiny screws.
The machine powers on (all lights and fans start up) then beeps and shuts itself down. It starts up and shuts down again, over and over. After about an hour of this (testing it with both the keyboard and mouse that shipped and a PS2 keyboard and mouse from one of my other machines) I tried to get a return or replacement. The company issued an RMA right away, but no return airbill. They expect me to pay the $85 to ship it back, in spite of the fact that the salesman promised otherwise at the time of the sale.
IBUYPOWER intially refused to connect me with the original salesman when I asked to speak with him. When I finally did reach him, he denied promising that he would pay for shipping. He started screaming at me. Another employee was also very abusive and childish, hitting all the numbers on his touch tone phone whenever I tried to reason with him, before eventually hanging up on me. None of these people seem to speak English very well. Perhaps they just couldn't understand what I was saying. But I got the impression that I was dealing with a very unprofessional if not disreputable organization.
I relied on published reviews of IBUYPOWER systems before making my purchase. Since returning the machine, I have read a number of customer reviews from people who actually purchased these machines. I was suprised to find that nearly half of them had a similar experience: the computer was completely dead on arrival and they were not treated well IBUYPOWER customer service.

I have bought several computers for fellow coworkers. All of them are nice, quality machines. 1 of the CD drives in 1 of the machines went bad, but was RMA'd without any problems. With the selection, performance, and especially the price...they are a pc company that has there act together.
