OK, I don't expect much from this company because the glasses are so cheap. BUT, come on now. I should at least be able to talk to someone or get an email returned. I have had good experience with zenni so I will give them some credit. But, this last two pair that I ordered have not arrived yet. That was 3 weeks ago. Yes, they have tint, but I never got one email from them not one! All I have is the invoice that you get after you purchase the order on the website. Never got a tracking number. So I email and call. Here is where the problem arises. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONEXISTENT. I MEAN NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH, THE VOICEMAIL IS ALWAYS FULL AND THEY DONT RETURN EMAILS! All I can say is, If you have to contact them for ANY reason, you might as well hang it up because you're SCREWED! No more glasses orders for zenni will come from me! I will try another website. All it takes is one time for a company to screw me and I will move on even if I have to sacrifice...

I ordered glasses and was billed on Jan. 2, 2009, but one month later they haven't arrived. The number 415-785-7003 is disconnected. The voice mailbox at 800-211-2105 is full. This doesn't look good.

I've ordered from them about 5 times and they have always hit the 2 week shipping promise. Just today I purchased a pair of glasses with suntint, which they warn may take an extra week to process, so we'll see how it goes.
I have never had any problems with Zenni, and even though the quality of their frames is not as great as a 300$ pair, being able to actually AFFORD them wins me over in my book.
This is a great website for people who cannot afford insurance, or are not given insurance through their employer.
I wish they offered gift certificates. I would buy and donate them to charity for those in need.

I'm really happy with Zenni. I've ordered 11 pair of glasses over the past year and a half for myself and several friends. They take a while to ship but they're coming from China, what do you expect? I'm very satisfied with the price and quality. I'd much rather pay $30 for glasses than $300. I've never had a problem with them.

placed order for 3 pairs of glasses on Oct 12 - as of Nov 20th still haven't received. Phone calls go to a voice mailbox that is full, emails go unanswered. I wish I could get the glasses as they are just back-ups for contacts, but I have finally just disputed the credit card charge. sigh - off to expensive mall retailer I guess.

I just received my first order from Zenni. I am quite pleased with the result. I kept it cheap just to try out in case things didn't go well, ordering a 10 dollar setup with no extras. Ordered along with one of my friends and split shipping. He ordered 2 pair; one of which was tinted. All are very nice (especially considering the price). They dont appear to be any kind of name brand, or have any brand information at all. Shipping took about a week and a half which I think is pretty acceptable. Over all a very good experience and I will be returning for another pair very soon!

Zenni Optical is a ripoff
They refuse to properly replace incorrect prescription glasses. The hassle of shipping glasses back to them is more than its worth. That is their technique, they send you excess inventory and what appears to be used frames.
You should be very careful and not deal with Zenni Optical.
1. not only do they send the wrong frames but they also appear used.
2. prescription was off so be very careful not to damage your eyes with incorrect prescription glasses from zenni optical

My prescription was wrong, the frame are GREAT. Chalking it up to you get what you pay for and taking the frames to a local place to have the correct lens put in.
Tried calling Customer Service and waiting for almost an hour before speaking to a rep who said they'd refund $4.98 after I return the glasses on my next prescription. NO THANK YOU!
AGAIN, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

I ordered my glasses on 4/8 & I am still waiting. I finally called again, to get a tracking # & found out that it was only sent 1 day ago & went to the NJ processing center which means it will now come by boat in 30-90 days. I got in for my eye exam as soon as I could & thought I would get these in time for my trip in less than 2 weeks now. I am surprised they shipped my glasses considering I have an APO address. The guy had no idea what I was talking about when I said it would come by boat because I had to put my address as APO AE, NY so I could get my glasses. Yet another merchant that makes ordering anything more difficult. So far I am not happy so these glasses better be absolutely fabulous if they ever get here!

WORST PLACE EVER! I still haven't gotten my THREE pairs of glasses. They were ordered several months ago. The only time I can ever even get the phone to NOT be busy is when they are closed. I've left many messages with the voicemail and not one single call back. No answer to emails. The 1800 number and the other number are ALWAYS busy during business hours. THIS PLACE SUCKS! I do NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM!
