Ordered about 80 prints, the quality was excellent and the photos got here in 4 days. The prices are just so, so low - half what the other guys charge!

I have been ordering from Snapfish for several years and have always been really pleased with my prints and my custom photo products. I have had some hiccups in having special projects get deleted, but out I think that's a risk you take with saving things online.
As for their shipping policy: they clearly state that you need to add the processing time to the shipping time, so 3-5 day shipping is AFTER they actually process the order. Because everything is custom they can't just go to the warehouse and pop it in a box the next day.
I've been very pleased with customer service and love their live help feature. I think Snapfish cares about customer service.

Best price and the best photos. I have ordered with Snapfish many times and it's so easy to use. You can even refer your friends and family and get free 20 photos for each e-mail address you refer. Then there are these free shipping codes everywhere on fatwallet. My order usually comes out to be less than 5 bucks for about 50 pics. The 5 bucks being just shipping and handling. I LOVE Snapfish!

The site states clearly that standard shipping is 3 to 5 business days, not "within 10 business days" as stated in a canned email I got from CS. This makes a huge difference in my decision to order from any company or the method of shipping I choose. If it is advertised and stated, I assume it to be true and trust that the company I am ordering from is accurately representing itself, its policies and products. I was originally going to order from Shutterfly, but went with Snapfish because it is a name I am more familiar with. The standard shipping statement on the site is blatantly untrue. Had it said "up to ten business days" I would have chosen another method of delivery. But it doesn't and now I've paid for something I don't have in the time it was promised.
To add insult to injury, I sent a reply to Snapfish stating the above on 1/25/07 and received no response. So, as well as promising inaccurate delivery times, customer service, in my experience has been unhelpful and non-responsive.
I finally received my order on 2/1. The prints are noisy and uncrisp. I know this is not the case in the photos as I had printed out 8 x 10's at home before ordering the 11 x 14's from Snapfish to insure I was sending quality photos. The lowers edges of both prints are crushed. If you only do one thing, I don't think it's too much to assume that you'll do it well! This is my first order and will be my last.
I spent two hours making two custom calendars. Apparently after you put a calendar in the cart if you don't buy it, it gets deleted (even if you saved it before putting it in the cart). I had two calendars in the cart to go to two different people but you can only ship them to one address together. So I had to remove one in order to ship one. One of the calendars is now deleted and customer service sent me a form letter in response to my questions about how to purchase them. Totally non-helpful and shipping is a rip off for shipping peices of paper. $13.99 for two day and $5.99 for first class? Come on.

I really like the deals that Snapfish offers! You end up getting pictures almost all free with the Snapfish codes that fatwallet provides. I just placed an order and I haven't seen the quality of the photos yet, hopefully they'll be okay. If not, I'm hoping I can talk to Snapfish's customer service. Otherwise, I will probably print all my pictures using Snapfish! I can't get over how much you save with this thing. Costco's got nothing on Snapfish =O

Mailed them several rolls of 35mm film. Absolutely horrible pictures. Colors are bleak, there is a lot of noise pretty much on ALL photos, regardless of film ISO or night/day conditions. Photos on the web are dumpster quality, the "high resolution" that you can purchase are NOT any better. The printed version 4X6 is somewhat better than those on-line, but still the quality is lacking throughout. Photo paper is very cheap you can even see the rough edges of the paper as it came out of the printer. Out of 12 rolls I kept 36 photos only. To compare, I took the other rolls from the same trip taken with the same camera in the same conditions (day, night, etc...) to Walgreens 1 hour. Excellent palette, excellent saturation, photos on CD are perfect resolution and all in about an hour and a half. Only a little more expensive. The real expense of Snapfish comes when they are selling you the high resolution version of your photos for 39 cents each 'cause the free ones they post on the web that they say you can share are really crappy, so you would want to buy the so called "high resolution" ones. I would not want to share their on-line version with anyone!!! After I got the negatives from snapfih, I took them to walgreens - they scanned them on a disk and reprinted them - COMPLETELY different pictures, once again, normal saturation, vibrant colors... Thus, I do NOT recommend Snapfish for photo developing and processing. Don't know about their digital printing abilities.
