has anyone recently tried to get the $20 back? I would like to know some more info. on this before purchasing. My buddy gets both netflix and blockbuster at his house, and he thinks BB is better overall for getting you what u want on ur queue. I figured the in store exchange was the best thing about it, plus the ability to possibly rent games with your returns is good sounding too. It seems like anyone who has had problems with this are from nearly a year ago...maybe they've changed?

i signed up almost a week now and there's still no sign for the $20 anywhere (no pending & stuff) how long did it get to show in the record in your case??

I think something might be happening at BB. With recent changes in the economic climate and all, they may be getting ready to "off it," voluntarily or otherwise. Currently when I return disks in-store they do not show up as returned on my queue online (according to the program description, they are supposed to show up right away and then BB mails out the next available movies in your queue.) In fact, I am on the 3-at-a-time unlimited plan and have had out only 1 movie in the past 5 days. They just stopped mailing me new movies! My queue has like 38 movies in it, most of them, including the top 3, all available. Although, there were MANY movies I found that had a status of "very long wait" when I added them to my queue. : (

Customer service does not even respond. Physical stores are closing up around NYC. Doesn't look good.

I kind of want my money back. But they don't even have a phone number to call.

I've been a member of TotalAccess since May '07. They have raised prices TWICE in that time and changed the benefit structure twice. They have eroded the value of their service to the degree that I plan to cancel my account and switch to NetFlix for mailed movies and Hollywood Video for in store rentals.

You can get a month for free by using coupon code 48990...try it it works....i love bb online, and now you can take ur movies back to their stores and free rentals with them, pretty sweet deal.
