Trying to buy the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner which is on sale, but in the shopping cart they increase the price by $40!! Even when trying to check out, no price adjustment. What gives???

BAD, BAD BAD Sharper Image.
They cancel my order after a month.
For what reason? I don't know. They couldn't give me an reason and said I can order again. But they changed the price from $10 to $40. So, could it be because they don't want to sell at the promotion price? Then, why put up a promotion that they don't want to honor and made me go thr' all the troubles and time dealing with them. I called them many times and each time being transfered to many depts. I am not reordering at 4 times the price.

They sent me a used item bought as "Brand new" it was dead and the manual had fingerprints on it.
Horrible it was a hassle to return it. If it weren't for gift certificates and reward card, why would anyone buy from this place... Turns out Amazon had the same item for 40% less!

Terrible store and terrible customer service. I used a coupon for $100 off $200 and they decided to take most of the discount (ie the $100) off one item -- and then NOT send the item -- and then have the audacity to say I was due no refund since the item I ordered was 'free' due to their stupid system reducing the price to 0! I'm still disputing this with Sharper Image, the PA Attorney General, the BBB and my credit card.

I orderred an ipod from sharper image through fatwallet's link but I didn't get the Cash Back.
After more than 2 months' investigation, they told me I didn't order through the FW's link! That's ridiculous! I am not a rookie and I surely know how to make purchase via FW's link!

On the contrary, I was lucky to receive rather impressive customer service. Placed my 1st web order with Sharper Image on Monday. They were helpful and prompt when I had to cancel my 1st order, and after re-placing the order, it shipped the next day.
Short or no waits to speak to a telephone rep, and e-mail replies within 2 hours of contacting them. Looks like they've improved much on their customer service since the past. Pleasant first experience with Sharper Image on the web!

Terrible and slow customer service. Last year, I ordered both from Brookstone and Sharper Image at the same time. The recipient wasn't home to get the packages so it was returned to sender. I called both places to redirect the packages. Brookstone was great and fast. No problems, no hassles, no follow-ups. Sharper Image on the other hand was a sore dissapointment. I called and talked to a live person several times. I was told it would get sent out again like twice before I gave up and cancelled after a month passed. It took them the better part of 2 additional months, several calls, and e-mails later to get credited for my cancelled order. I opted for e-mail correspondance since it easier to document. Very bad customer support if anything goes wrong with your order.

Terrible service. Website order processed wrong price (in my favor) and item showed in stock. Almost two weeks later, item was going to ship with higher price without any explanation for delay, pricing change, or option to cancel. Total of 90 minutes and 4 customer service reps later still did not reach a resolution. Emailed the president. Decided not to wait for him and called to cancel order. Was told it was cancelled.

President's assistant responded next day and order is not cancelled--I have to refuse delivery.

Completely ridiculous. STAY away.

Abysmal customer service and outrageous shipping charges.

I ordered two items that showed as "in stock" and it took almost a month to receive them. Further, a coupon I used showed up on my order, but was removed (no notification - it just showed up on my credit card). The so-called "customer service" rep said that she would credit my account, but could not do so before the order shipped. I said that if there were any chance that it would not be credited I wanted to cancel the order. She promised that it would be done and that she would personally see to it. Yeah, right. The extra charge was never removed and when I called again, they said that the coupon was "denied" and that if I returned the merchadise, they would still charge me the $20.95 shipping plus a 10% restocking fee.

To paraphrase Arnold, "I won't be back."

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered using the link for 15% off for new customers. When it didn't take off the 15% I went back and tried a free shipping over $100 link. I spent almost $170. Still nothing. So stupid me went ahead and ordered, was charged $20.69 to ship 3 items, and now they will not refund the money. I have to return it for credit. NEVER AGAIN!
