They had a promotion for some free shipping on cheap items. Ilove this kind of promotion 'cause when something is cheap then they add $5 for shipping it kills the momentum of the excitement.

Anyway they have 533mz AMD k6-2 cpus for $10 delivered. I oc'd it to 560 mhz by using 5x and 112mhz buss. no problems at all.

For what it's worth I ordered and got the item the next day!
I live about 200 miles north of them in California but the service was excellant. Well packed. Even the chip was packed in antistatic and a chip carrier. I was very impressed.

I did have a small problem. Not really it was just a request and it was not dealt with verywell.

I asked for a $0.50 product to be tossed in at no additional shipping.
They declined. It was a wire that I was glad to pay for but it was not on the free shipping deal.

So I asked to talk to the owner/manager and was told by Shawn that 'she will tell you the same thing'.. I was a bit put off. I really don't like it when the employees predict what you want to talk to the manager about.

in his case I was probably going to say that he did a good job. But later after that I only had bad things to say. haha. so I did .

I wrote a letter to Abby Su who is presumably the owner. And although her English is not perfect she is an intelligent and kind person. So we had a nice chat and she said the computer was set so that with their 'big organization' it was not possible to override it.

I understand that. To an extent. Some businesses can't trust their employees to not give their friends a deal so they set the computer to make dealing impossible. Or there are other reasons to set up systems and not change them.

FWIW the word of the business has been banned from FW because of a spamming incident. Because of this I can not write the name or this will not be posted.
Upon speaking to Steve at FW he was pleased to hear they were doing a good job and so I hope the ban will be removed as they do have good service.. u p to a point.

As I mentioned. The speed, packing, and telephone availability was good.
