Tried to get on a free Mouse deal (hot-deals/838264/) They gave me a tracking number and never shipped the mouse. Till a month later I'm still waiting on the mouse to move somewhere. I call up RadioShack and they cancel my order and tell me to order again.. but it's to late for the rebate so I've been screwed out of the deal.

Purchased a Thermaltake 800 PSU on-sale with rebate, Had it shipped to store to get free shipping. Got it, Installed it, worked fine, sent in rebate form, got check in less than 3 months. No complaints from me. I'd do it again if they have a deal worth jumping on.

I agree with lsufanatic comment since I have the same experience. I order one TiVo 2 DVR on Nov 9 2007 and the rebate form is clearly marked till Dec 31, 2007. Well I ordered it, cut the UPC bar code, filled the form (really ridiculous they ask fill all in CAPITAL letter) then send out. Guess what, I got postcard which said I am unqualified for the rebate since it is made outside of the qualifying period. I check their website, yes they change offer end date to Oct 10, 2007, when did they change it? people in FW forum said this form still same untill Dec 19 or 29th, so I guess this company just don't want to pay the rebate for people who made the order between Oct to Dec 2007. Ok, now we have to fight with them to get the money back. And I would like to said, next time I will keep far far away with this company.

I purchased a GPS navigation system after Thanksgiving from Radio Shack b/c they offered the best price. Although the sale was suppose to run through 11/26, on the morning of that day the price changed on the website, so the price was not being honored. I called customer service, and they said they would credit the $20 price difference back to my credit card. Well, that never happened...when I called back to have them correct this, they made it seem like they were doing some great customer service gesture, even though all they were doing was fixing their own mistake. I never complained that I was still paying tax on the full amount, and b/c I couldn't place the order online I was losing out on using an online discount. Didn't know if it was worth the fight, but since they couldn't even get charging me the advertised price right...
The GPS system they sent was defective. I called to try to exchange it- ha! I was told when placing the order that I would have until Jan 31 st b/c of the holidays. I called beginning of Jan, and they told me they do not exchange this product, only offer a refund and then place a new order. The problem there is that there was over $100 price difference, and they would not honor the sale price. So basically they wanted me to pay $100 extra because they sent me a defective unit. Seems like a pretty good scam if you ask me- I will never, ever purchase from Radio Shack again. I always thought they were a solid name, but now I see why there is never anyone in their stores. Good job RS- you just threw away another customer!

In a pinch, I purchased a car GPS from Radio Shack. Long story short. I returned it because it was not working, it was exchanged and the second one didn't work properly either. When I went to return it I found out I was three days past the 30 money back limit. Now.Im stuck with a store gift card. Don't buy from Radio Shack! Terrible place to deal with! Obnoxious, disgusting despicable retail store.

RadioShack is not such a bad place. Ask for help about anything at WalMart or Best Buy if anyone will even make eye contact. People need a place to ask for help and advice on new technology. RadioShack is a local place for tech-savy individuals to get hard to find electronics as well as a place that your grandma go to get some pointers on how to work her VCR. I got my last two Cell Phones there and I they have always been very helpful. Now they have Bose, iPods, Tom Tom GPS, Sirius Sat Radio, Dish Network, Sprint, Cingular, Nextel (they now do upgrades), all without stepping into a cold, crowded, confusing WalMart or Best Buy. Those big stores treat you like one of those automated "press one for english" calls. Why go through all that when you can talk to a real person at RadioShack.

I bought the dvd player on dec. 23rd that had two valid rebates for which was not honored. This is bad business on behalf of RS. Don't buy from them.

Order was never delivered because of RadioShack misprinting address in shipping (FEDEX) label. Emailed them when I found FEDEX tracking status as "Incorrect Address Exception". Did not receive any reply for 24 hrs. Called them and requested them to correct the address. The reply was that they wouldnt correct the address after shipping out and For the refund I need to wait 10-15 working days after the item received back at wharehouse!.. RadioShack failed to deliver this order. And they are expecting me to risk my money until they find the item they misplaced themselves!.
This was my first purchase at radio shack.. I would never buy from them again!
