honestly, I am quite satisfied with my previous eBags purchase experiences. I have PMed once and return once. both went thru w/o a glitch, fast and easy. so far, eBags is one of my favorite online store. it will continuously be!

I recently made a purchase from eBags before checking the fatwallet reviews, and I was glad I did. My order arrived on time. Yes, the prices aren't the cheapest, but the website is very well organized, so I was able to find a diaper bag that fit my needs, that I couldn't find elsewhere. In the same order, I purchased a handbag that wasn't what I had expected, because I didn't read the web info completely. eBags took a few days to process my return, but did it without any other problems. I'll definitely purchase from here again.

I've ordered 3 times from them, their prices aren't amazing, but not too bad either (as long as you shop around first). Shipping for me has always been super fast and orders always seem to ship the day after I place them.

eBags is very bad about expiring web promotions in the middle of the day - this is the SECOND time I have been about to hit "checkout" after doing some comparison shopping, only to find the promotion has expired and been snatched away from me.

I don't like eBags. Their bags are notoriously over-priced. Their on-sale items are still more expensive than the competitors. people can't find better price because they don't even know other on-line resellers like eBags. Using froogle you can easily save a lot.

Avoid eBags like the plague. It took 27 days from the date ordered for me to receive my bags. I sent them several emails asking if the order status was up to date and they sent the same generic response back. I didn't get a shipping confirmation until the day before I was suppose to GET MY ORDER. If they were upfront with me when I emailed the first time, I would've canceled my order and gone straight to a B&M that sold the same item.

WORSE ONLINE shopping experience for me EVER!

I demanded my shipping fee back and they ignored my email. Their price wasn't even worth the trouble. I could've paid 40 cents more and gotten it from another online retailer.

I should also add that their prices even WITH discounts were the same or higher with competitors Seriously. The competitors also have free shipping, REAL free return shipping (unlike the eBags $5 fee), no sales tax and 110% price guarantee. Do a search on froogle first or bagsbuy.com/Shoebuy.com, luggage.com among others. I wish I did.

I had similar horrible experiences: they will discover an item out of stock after a WEEK even when the website shows it in stock; remove the item and any discounts (in my case a $20 Google Checkout) WITH NO NOTICE; ship the items without asking whether you still want it; refuse to make substitutions for missing items; and then on top of it all customer service will ignore requests with no replies or acknowledgment at their discretion. Unbelievably Terrible!

Ordered this product and paid for 2nd day air to get here before Christmas. I received my tracking number and it went ground and from the looks of it, it won't arrive until after Christmas. I called customer service and all they could do was refund my 2nd day air and apologize. I felt that is very incompetent of them not to double check shipping especially it being around the holidays to make sure people get their order in time. I will never do business with them again and I suggest whoever reads this review to do the same.
