Great price. Paid top dollar for overnight shipping. Product arrived 5 days later. Etronics claimed they "would credit my account half the cost of shipping." Nothing has been done in a week. Will dispute entire charge through credit card company. Never again Etronics

Following up on my previous post, I received my item today (Aug 31, order date + 22 days) and the item was refurbished instead of new (which is not good since the item has a $30 rebate). I called the number provided by telstar above and was told to get an RMA. So I will have to pay to have the phone shipped back and probably a restocking fee (wouldnt be surprised)Do not deal with this company.

I ordered a phone from this outfit and it said it would ship in 1-2 days. That was on Aug 9. On Aug 16 I received an email saying the item had been shipped and would arrive in 3-7 days and they billed my account. On the 23rd I followed up with an email asking where the item was. I received an automated reply. I followed up again. I received the same email I received on the 16th stating it had shipped and would be here in 3-7 days. Meanwhile, their website says my order is still in processing. To say that shipping is slow and service non existant would be an understatement. I requested that my order be cancelled but I doubt the email will ever be read by a human.

Etronics has a store in NY, so I decided to stop-in and pickup an item they said they had in stock. I get there and I get the "i just sold the last one" line. Right.
So the sales guy asks if I want him to order me one ... I say sure, and ask him to call me when it's in stock. He estimates 3 days for receipt.
Today (two weeks later) I receive multiple emails letting me know that the receiver is in stock, and that I should come pick it up. I already purchased a better unit elsewhere, but even if I hadn't, I wouldn't purchase the unit from them.
FYI, the # to their New York store is: 212-475-3149.

Search the web and read reviews about Etronics.com and stay as far away from this company as possiable. I read many mixed reviews and was weary about ordering from them but their price for the product I wanted was the best I could find.
Here's how my order went (Like many other reviews I had read)
Checked site and item was listed as instock and would ship in 24hrs. 3 days after order and no shipping conformation email, I check the order status online and it shows still processing and decide to wait 1 more day before checking into it. Next day I get the dreaded "There is a delay with the product you purchased" email. Also they state that they don't charge your credit card until your item ships. Yeah right! They of course had charged mine. Wait 3 more days and receive another "There is a delay with the product you purchased" email. So I check their site to see if they still have the item listed as ships in 24hrs and it is. I finally found a phone number to call to cancel my order. You'll have to do a google search to find the number because it's not on their site for some unkown reason. hmmmmmmmm Anyway, I got the ordered cancelled (CSR was very rude also)and checked the site again for the product I ordered and it wasn't even listed anymore. I just have to wonder how long they would have left my order in the processing stage if I handn't found the number and called?
I beg you please stay away from them.

I read the reviews and was a little nervous about ordering the DVD player from Etronics. I was expecting a similar problem as some of the other reviewers when I received an email telling me there was a problem with my address. I was pleasantly surprised; ended up getting exactly what I wanted for the best price available on the web. I bought the Denon 1910 upscaling DVD player. The product arrived at my house 2 business days later.

I will never purchase from Etronics again. The web site claimed the item was in stock. I ordered. It was supposed to ship within 24 hours. 4 days later I was told it did not ship, but I had to ask why. When I inquired, I found out the whole business was shut down for 4 days for a holiday. Then when I did get a response, I was told it would ship 4-5 days. 6 days later I inquired again, only to find out it was another 4-5 days. 6 days later I inquired again, and was told it was another 5 days. I was also told if this was not acceptable, I could simply return it when I got it and I'd just have to pay a shipping charge. I told them to cancel my order immediately which they did, and I did not pay a charge. But clearly they can not manage their inventory control process. I ordered from Amazon the same day, and had the product in my hands about 4 days later, at a cost of about 5% more.

I bought a Kenwood home theater kit from them. The included DVD malfunctioned, and Kenwood refused to honor the warranty because etronics is an unauthorized retailer. etronics refused to help.
There is a game being played in electronics as certain online retailers sell grey market or otherwise unauthorized goods. The price is cheap, but if you ever have a problem you're stuck with the repair cost.
Ever since then I have been very, very careful about buying electronics on the Net. Before any purchase I get confirmation from the mfr that the warranty will be honored if I buy from e-tailer X.

Criminals, ordered $800.00 camcorder for christening 3 weeks prior to event. After a week and half with no camera I tried to call (they were closed several weekdays for Passover).
After 2 weeks I finally got through, camera was no longer in stock and the new model was $200 more or they would send me a refirb for the same price. No camera for the event I needed it for. I told them cancel the order and the final insult was a 45 day wait for my card to be credited. Purchase your product somewhere else. Text

My one and only experience with Etronics: I purchased a VCR and received a defective unit. I returned it at my expense and after a long delay and many phone calls, I did get a working unit in an opened box with the labels on the box removed. When I've called about being reimbursed for the return postage, the so called "customer service" reps either hang up or put me back in the queue. I would recommend avoiding these crooks. The first VCR also destroyed two video tapes.
