Same thing happened to me... I ordered products, they took the money (charged my credit card)but I received and email stating certain items were "out-of-stock". I was frustated also... They need to work on this. Then people would not want to cancel orders... just good ole common sense!

I ordered some Sodium Ascorbate Powder from this store through Amazon (Availability: In Stock. Ships from and sold by VitaminLife). They took the order and my money, and then two days later I receive an e-mail saying that it is out of stock. When I called to cancel the order, I encountered a rude and combative CS rep (Aubrey).
When I made the point that they should not take money for items that they do not have in stock, she said that they charge right away and not when shipping to not "confuse customers." Then she stated that they never claim something is in stock when it isn't but they do not have real time inventory. When I pointed out the apparent contradiction, she said that listing the item for sale does not imply that it is in stock. Nevermind that Amazon said that it is stock. Even if you ignore what Amazon does, and order from their web-site directly, listing something for sale, not saying that it is -not- real time inventory, and taking money for it implies that it is in stock (to me). I don't know if it'd imply the same to you but it does not to VitaminLife.
Stay away - I am never buying from them again.
