I used this company once, and shame on me, it was because their prices were a few dollars less than the competition. NEVER AGAIN! It was prescription medication and after two weeks, they still hadn't faxed in the request to my vet, and never answered a single email from me. When I got through on the phone, they said they'd tried to get my vet to approve the order three times, and my vet wasn't cooperating, something they later admitted never happened, because they never called my vet once. My vet finally called THEM and approved the order, but I never got my product. They said their email had been down but was fixed, but I still have not ever received a reply to any email I've sent questioning when the meds will be shipped. My next step will be to go to my credit card company and reverse the payment.

I have used this company at least a half dozen times over the last couple years. Good prices and good service. Only had an issue once, which was handled with one phone call, which was answered by a real person. So, no complaints from me!

BUYERS BEWARE!! I placed an order on January 16 2008 and still have not received the order. I also paid for priority shipping because the order is arthritis medication for my cat and vital supplements needed for my other animals. My cat is now in a considerable amount of pain, so I decided to order elsewhere. I just called my credit card company and lo and behold my card was charged on the day I placed the order. I have tried several times to contact this company and either the voice mail is full or I am told I am calling after hours which is not the case. I finally recieved an actual person on the phone today who immediately pulled up my order and said he would send me the tracking info "right away" to my email address. Well of couse that never came and 45 minutes after speaking with him, I called back (during business hours)and no one answered the phone. I called the other number I have for them and an answering machine came on telling me I was calling after hours which again, I was calling during business hours. They do not answer any e-mails either. There is something seriously wrong going on with this company. I now have to dispute the amount charged to my card with my credit card company. This has all been a serious waste of time dealing with this company and my animals are suffering because of it. I will never again order from this company and I am warning others to stay clear from Discount Pet Drugs & Supplies.

I placed and order and although they billed my credit card I did not receive it. I contacted them 14 times via telephone messages and e-mail and FINALLY got a warm breathing body on the phone (if you could call the jerk I got a person). They said "we shipped it". When I asked for a tracking number they gave me very excuse in the world to not give it to me. When I asked for a Supervisor this idiot I was talking to, John Lopez, said that there was no supervisor there. I paid for express shipping which adds insult to injury. Additionally, I now have a dog in pain and no way to get the meds needed. I can't use the prescription with another service as they already listed the prescription as filled through whatever freaking network is used for that type of thing. My Vet won't re-issue the prescription without over $100.00 worth of new blood work. I now have a 14 year old Golden who can't get up because of the pain in her rear thanks to the negligent customer service at Discount Pets Drugs. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM TO SOMEONE I DISLIKED.
They are a bunch of thieves. Their pricing may seem good but it isn't so good if you don't get the product.

I have been trying to find ratings for discountpetsdrugs.com. I found only 1 rating from a site unknown to me: fatwallet.com. The rating was from 2006.
I sent several emails asking about the price of the product I wanted. All the emails were returned because of “delivery problems”.
The next day I called their 800 # and first asked about their email address and if it was working. Although I was told that it was, when I asked what it was, I was given a different email. The person I spoke to sounded like he was either half asleep or "stoned" on something.
I asked about the price for the product I was interested in and was informed it was on back-order. I asked for how long and "his" response was "I don't know". So I asked for a supervisor. I was then informed the supervisor was "too busy" and could I call back later.
Considering that I was not able to find recent ratings for this store other than the one from 2006, and the customer service I received from the person I was speaking with so almost none, I WOULD NOT do business with them.
In addition, although the price of the product I was interested in was very competitive, I did not feel trusting despite it being one of Yahoo.com’s stores.

Have ordered from this company numerous times and have found them to be extremely competitive on pricing while exceling at delivery of ordered products. We have recommended to family and friends and their experiences have been great as well. Great Price, great delivery, great customer service, what more could you ask for? (And no, not connected in any way with the company, just a long-time happy user.)
