Fannie May pulled the classic bait-and-switch on me. I ordered 3 pounds of assorted chocolates on a post-Christmas sale. They said that they were sold out and that I could order comparable assortment of chocolates. I ordered 3 pounds of comparable assorted chocolates to replace them. After indicating that they would ship them, they only ship 2 pounds of assorted chocolates, claiming the 3rd pound was on backorder. Then they refused to honor their pledge to send me all three pounds, now claiming that the cost of the replacement order exceeded the original order. They broke the promise. What a ripoff! Beware of ordering chocolates from Fanny May. They're no different from Fannie MaE.

What a waste of time. The "Free Shipping w/ $20 Purchase Per Ship Address • w/ Coupon 10085 • exp 2/15/08 " discount listed on this vendor page here at fatwallet is bogus. When you try and use it, it states "this coupon is valid but requires a minimum purchase of 39$". Not only that (which is twice the minimum listed here), but when you do meet the 39 mark and try to check out, it "recognizes" that you've got a valid code, but does NOT reduce the shipping costs. I just wasted 30 minutes that I won't get back. That's the last time I give anything to Fannie May.
