Another problem - this is really shady of them. They tell you that you must cancel before the 14 day trial is up or they will charge you automatically. That's fine, most companies operate that way. Here's the thing, Rhapsody bars you from accessing music after the 14 day trial is up. I made the wrongful assumption that they automatically cancelled me. Nope! They charged me anyway.

Think about that for a moment. If they are automatically charging you, why are they denying you access to their music after 14 days? Shady.

We shouldn't support companies that act this way just out of sheer principle. Now I have to go through customer service hell to try and get a refund. Wonderful.

Their software is HORRIBLE. Only to be expected coming from the makers of that awful Realplayer. I should've known better.

They have an option to use a web based player. You definitely need to use that since the bloatware they install is just a glorified web browser anyway. It BROKE windows media player and made it impossible for me to uninstall and reinstall either player. Even using system restore wouldn't work (!) Plus they installed Google Toolbar in spite of specific instructions telling them not to during the install process.

Customer service - awful. I contacted them because their web player has an annoying 2 second gap between each song. The first response wasn't even relevant to my question. The second wasn't any better.

I'd actually have a free month if I factor in the CashBack I'd get from fatwallet. Doesn't matter, I still won't subscribe.
