so far I didn't experience any problem in delivery.
I have shopped with them 3 times in this month alone.I am thinking of buying a digital SLR from them. I emailed 12 days ago to price match the lens with their
approved vendor.....NO response YET !!!
May be they are busy packing Christmas stuff.

Very bad experience with J&R. I have ordered gifts and order total was more than $2800+ but they didn't approve the Cash Back. They are real cheater. Do not buy from them...

Ordered a camcorder brand new, received one open box item re-sealed by the store. It is very obvious because the seal have several layers, and inside layers are broken.

And all cords inside are with no packages.

Be aware of this dishonest seller.

Waited for 2 weeks for my order to be shipped. Never received any update. Had to call them twice only to find out one of the items in my order was discontinued. Their CSRs were impatient and rude!

BAD service!

I waited over a month for my two DVD's which I only ordered from them because they were at a low price. Their prices may be reasonable, but if you would like your order on time, I suggest you look somewhere else.

Experts at the bait and switch. They purportedly have items in stock at great prices but don't really have them in stock, then they try to guide you to a substitute item for a higher priced item. Sleazy...

They just allow to use one Gift Card per online order. 2 over the phone. Sounds like they don't want the business at all.

Stay away from J&R Electronics,I placed an order that was said to be in stock and after 6 days checked with customer service on the shipment.I was told the item was not in stock now and they would not be getting any more in.I received no e-mails to that fact. They told me sorry with no solution to substitute any product. The only solution was to cancel my order.I wasted a week of time ordering from them.

After waiting on hold for over 15 minutes, your sales staff transerred me to a salesman in appliances, when i explaiend that i was a corporate customer and was looking for your website / IT technical department. He transferred me to the operator. she trasferred me back to corporate sales, who again couldnt understand what i was requesting. She then transferrred me to a voicemail box of god knows who without letting me know she was transferring me.

I called back. When i reached the operator, i explained that i was very frustrated that everone trasferred me in circles, and i then explained what i was looking for - she said that wasnt her fault and then transferred me to the stores appliances department. When i called back, twice, she immediately hung up the phone on me!!!

The service was increidably unprofessional, and totally rude. Not to mention that i wasted 45 minutes of my day.

I have ordered from these guys for several years. The main benefit is that, like Crutchfield, J&R are authorized dealers for the products they sell. In addition, they will accept returns of your merchandise if you are not satisfied. Their prices are decent enough that I'd rather have the confidence that comes from buying authorized merchandise, rather than taking a chance with a product warranty if I bought from an unauthorized dealer. Some companies only honor warranties when you buy from authorized retailers and e-tailers. I also like to use my credit card that extends those warranty automatically.

If you go to their site, they tend to have more information and pictures than any other site. They also suggest other products you might need to use your new item (speakerwire, plugs, etc.).

If you call them on the phone, sometimes the reps will give you a price break or match prices (only from other auth'd e-tailers). So why pick J&R over another e-tailer? Because I have bought from them before, and I have not had a problem with returning something I don't like. You might also try ordering something cheap, see what kind of price reduction the rep is willing to give, and then when they ask if you'd like to order anything else, you may get them to give you a real break on the additional, more pricey item.

For my last order, I waited until "free shipping" came around on my item and then decided to go through fatwallet for the first time (for hassle-free price reduction).

A couple years back, I ordered a Polk Audio 5.1 speaker system, which had a Polk factory deal of a free small subwoofer. When I returned the system, they did not ask for the bonus sub back. Sure, I could get it for $120 on eBay, but I like *free* too.

Check resellerratings.com for more reviews than you will find at fatwallet.
