I am having the same experience as sas94010. I ordered a figurine 2 weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. I can't even set up an account and check my account. I even looked up the parent company, Xebra, Inc. and their phone number has been disconnected. I dialed their 800 number and some computer comes on and says that for $5 they can give the the new number. What the heck is going on? I hope this is no scam. They have my credit card number. I am thinking about contacting the Atorney General and the FTC.

I don't know if they've gone out of business or whatever. I placed an order and 3 weeks later, I have not gotten a confirmation or response from them regarding my inquiry via web contact and email. I tried to look up their phone number and that doesn't even go through. I just want to get a hold of them to cancel my order at this point. I started to wonder if they're just a scam website? It's horrible and utterly frustrating.

I had a great and easy experience buying my just the right shoes here... I recommend them. Plus they always get an exclusive piece, so I get that from them too each year. Free gifts, free shipping, what could be bad?

This is a rating that I wrote about GoCollect.com on Epinions.com.
Incompetent Customer Service and misrepresented products ruin GoCollect Experience
Summary: *The pictures didn't match actual products *Replaced with more incorrect products (incompetent customer service) *Still attempting to return product (unsuccessfully)
I ordered the Precious Moments Asian Bride and Groom figurines for my sister's birthday from GoCollect.com. The picture that they had on their website showed Asian looking Precious Moments (well, as Asian as Precious Moments gets anyway) with slanted eyes and black hair. I even paid $30 per figurine even though the MSRP was $27.50 because none of the other websites had the Asian Bride and Groom.
Then they sent me a different item than the picture! The ones that they sent had black hair and the typical teardrop eyes (making them look Caucasian). The item numbers on the bottom of the figurines were the same as those listed on the website, so I know that I did not receive the wrong item.
I e-mailed their customer support and told them that they misrepresented their product and even sent them new photos to put on their website so other customers would not be confused, as I was (they still have not updated the picture, 1 month later). They apologized profusely and (after many e-mail exchanges) promised to get me the figurines shown in the pictures on their website if I sent back the ones that they had sent me.
So I sent the figurines back and asked them to contact me with the new tracking number when they sent out the new ones (which they never did). Finally, the new ones arrived, and they turned out to be the HISPANIC bride and groom (how did Asian Bride and Groom turn into Hispanic???).
Now I am in the process of trying to get my money back from them. They said that they would send UPS out to get the package from me (it's been 3 days now and no UPS). They also said that they would not reimburse my shipping for the first time that I sent the figurines back (even though they said that they would originally). I figure I'll probably have to send this package back at my cost also. I just hope that I get my money back when this is all said and done. I'll be sure to update this if they actually give me my money back.
All in all, GoCollect.com misrepresents their products, and the customer service is unacceptable. Though they have a good selection, be wary of their products (what you see may not be what you get).
UPDATE! They actually finally refunded my money. I had to send the figurines back with my own money too (and I sent it with a return receipt so I could verify that they received the package). One week after they had received the package, they still had not refunded my money. After I sent three e-mails (which they ignored), I finally threatened to turn them into the BBB. After that, they refunded the money. Once again, I would NOT recommend this company at all, but they are not totally crooked and evil.
