Shady business practice. Poor customer service, if you ever need it. Believe me, you will need it. I stopped shopping over there after they cheated me out of $50 on that 2G SD card rebate!

After reading many reviews, I have to admit- I am totally surprised to see all the complaints. Based on my buying experiences at Buy.com, I have never had a hassle or issue. I have purchased a fair amount of electronics over the course of several years. Granted, I have never tried or needed to redeem a rebate, nor have I ever had to contact a CSR for assistance. Likewise, I have never encountered an out-of-stock issue. The site does mention- as I have noted many times- that some of the items are, in fact, refurbished. Prices on Buy.com are competitive and the free bargain shipping can't be beat. As a typical cost-conscious consumer, I often find better pricing on Buy.com for the products I seek to buy.

What a horrible company. In addition to not honoring rebates advertised on their site, they have shipped the wrong product to me. I can't believe FW is joining forces with Buy to offer us "deals." Maybe we should be giving our CashBack business to sites which support their users and not unscrupulous retailers.

This web site is a complete SCAM. The $xx off $xxx coupon for the new customer does not work at all. After clicking through the coupon and redeem it, it appeared for a few minutes. Then it asked you to sign up as a new customer, which you did, and then when checking out it asked you to reeneter the password you have newly created, and that's when it tells you that the coupon is removed from your cart for no reason! What a con! I also came to realize that many items offered are refurbished instead of new, but the web site hides it somewhere without telling you up front. That's not how business should be done. The customer service is also the worst in the world. When you call in for issues they tell you to write emails instead. When you write in an email it tells you all the standard replies which you can read on the web site without addressing the real problem. Basically this is just a SCAM web site to cheat you off your money!

Horrible, terrible, go elsewhere. The worst Customer Service (non existent. Ordered music cd - took almost 4 weeks to arrive. Arrived cracked. Buy.com referred me to someone else to correct problem. They continued to send me canned responses on how I should not contact them for help. NEVER AGAIN.

This works like a scam site, They hide the invoice somewhere after showing some marketing links. If you dont read the fine print or are careless and click on the prominent Navigation button, you will end up subscribing to some scam which will change your credit card on a monthly basis. Yes they say they will give your credit card info to some 3rd part vendor.

I have never had a problem with an order and continue to purchase. I never use them for a rebate. I must also say that the REWARD program signup looks to much like the order completion forms. Becareful that program is only $12 per month! It is designed to lure you in! Just watch what buttons you click.

Do not buy from these guys, BIG WARNING*. They label items as new, ended up receiving refurbished products. They are unethical. I returned the merchandise to them and to this day it's been a month, still no refund. Tracking number states returned. Their customer service are non-existent. STAY AWAY FROM Buy.com.

Don't be tempted by the low prices. This is a SHADY outfit that fails to honor rebates half the time (not always, so as to keep people guessing) and engages in all manner of questionable business activities. For example, you get 14 days from the time they claim to "ship" the product to when it has to be handed to a shipper for returns. For some reason, it took them 11 days to get the product to me (again, a shady practice to discourage returns on high return items such as their refurbished junk which is always more defective than other suppliers for some reason), leaving me 3 days to scramble to the shipper for the return. I'm sure there are a number of other tactics similar to this they are masters at. Ask yourself, can 7 out of 10 raters be wrong? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, I say. Go with reputable suppliers like Newegg and Amazon who stand by what they sell and treat their customers with respect.
