What a joke! I got a 20% off coupon from AMEX. Combine that with FatWallet's 8% Cash Back, you think I could get a deal? No! For a $40 item (e-pad), shipping is $11. Combine the 20% off and 8% Cash Back, you will only reduce the total by about $11.50. The only way to get free shipping is to spend over $100, but everything in their store is at least priced double of what it should be. So it is a losing battle for the consumer.

well, they ripped my child off! he bought the very expensive (especially for a kid) "gardeners essential tool kit" for me for Christmas. First day out the clasp on the pruners broke - ouch - now they don't stay closed - very inconvenient for gardening. Next it was the weeder tip - broke off third poke in the soil - & I have pretty friable soil! Customer Service - what a joke - all they know how to say is "without a receipt there is nothing we can do". What kid keeps a receipt? especially for 4-5 months!!! What a pile of crap they sold him. Brookstone used to have quality products 30 years ago - not any more. Unbelievable!!

Purchased a furniture item online that was substantially misrepresented. Brookstone c.s. was rude and refused to compensate me for receiving an inferior product, although I provided them with detailed photos and they did not dispute the difference. Shoddy product, slow delivery and ill-informed c.s. = one very dissatisfied customer.

Website and email stated item would ship in time for the holidays, but I found out by calling that it is a back ordered item. I received no emails or calls from Brookstone to tell me that was the case. When I called, Customer service stated there "is no manager to speak to". They offered free shipping for the inconvienence, but still could not give me a shipping date. Next time, I'll stick with more reliable (and less costly) online merchants.

Outside of some really expensive foam mattresses, pillows and some garden tools this store sells nothing but overpriced junk. Their scam is to send buyers to China, and Singapore, and other crap low-quality producing nations. Then the buyers look for el-cheapo stuff that’ s not in US stores yet. Then they arrange to have in shipped to their warehouses in US where they repackage and write the instructions in English. So US consumers wine up paying a 500% markup or more for the privilege of buying some of the absolutely cheesiest, broke two days after you bring it home junk in the world. The service in their stores is abysmal try retuning their crap after, and see how you are treated. This company is a bunch Sharper Image wanabees Except in the case of the Shaper Image they get it right, staring with the absolutely highest quality and innovative products anywhere.
