I ordered shearling coat. The SKU on my order and SKU of the coat I received was different?? I started talking to the customer support but they never understood the problem. In fact they had two SKU for the same merchandize and they weren't aware of it (or just ignored!!!!). Neither they fixed nor listened to what i pointed out. Its a complete waste of time talking to customer support from Bluefly. Beware about the merchandize you order and receive. Carefully check SKU, Bluefly style no. and manufacturer's style no. make sure you are getting the right one. Probably they have authentic photo online and in stock the fake one. What you receive may not be the one what you ordered for.....

I placed an order, and immdiately found out the shipping address is wrong. I told the customer service by chatting immediatly. The address cannot be updated nor the order cannot be cancelled. Such a poor and inflexbile customer service. Why the order cannot be cancelled when I placed it just 1 min. ago?

I'm placed in the impression that a lot of fatwalleter are basement bargain hunter. There's nothing wrong with wanting something for less or at time next to nothing, but this is not what this shop is about.
I have purchased numerous items from them, ranging from Ixist underwear for $20 to Prada suits for $2000.
I just placed an order for a 08í black rib knit Prada sweater for less than 400 shipped. I have never seen it remotely this cheap before anywhere I have been to in the world, not even for last yearís product.
For my taste, my only complain is they do not carry enough high end products. They have many European name brands, but they do not carry enough varieties of their product in the higher spectrum, it all tends to be the cheaper side on the scale. Most disconcerting for the one thatís willing to fork over good money for good product.
Guess thatís what 5th Avenue is for.

I haven't dealt with their customer service. Generally, I'm pretty pleased with them -- I get some great designer bargains. But their shipping is way too high!

Received wrong item for my order, the CS promise a refund for this in 5-7 business days. After 1 month and I am still not receiving my refund. Called again, and they said they still not receiving my return. The fault is not on me, and they ask me to wait for another 3 weeks to check on the status again. That's totally ridiculous and unacceptable customer service.

They lost my return, then after two phone calls inquiring about when my credit would be listed in my account, they said it would take another 4 business days after they find the return in their shipping/receiving dept for their finance dept to credit it back to my account. All this time I have been waiting to exchange for a specific item that might be sold out by the time they get their stuff together and credit my account. After this fiasco ends, I'll never buy from them again. I'd rather head to Macys.com! At least there they have Friends and Family discounts!

Used a $20 off coupon on a $19 item w/ free shipping. The place mats are very nice and will make a nice emergency Christmas gift. Prices seemed high in general-but I'm not complaining, I got something for free.

Bluefly HAS AWFUL CUSTOMER SUPPORT!! I used to love Bluefly, but then I tried to get a gift online. I selected gift-wrap, but the gift wrap did not show up on my price total. I ended up spending my lunch hour on hold and then with a customer service person who not only could not tell me how to fix the problem, she told me my promo code didn't work (it did on the website), so I ended up cancelling my order. I never want to use this site again! Too much of a hassle!!!

I have to disagree with hchieh that most clothes are ugly. I think Bluefly has a lot of high quality classics combined with a great selection of more innovative or eye-catching accents by designers I have not yet noticed elsewhere, i.e. the designer may be carried at Nordstrom or bloomingdales, but there, among everything else, they have not caught my eye yet. I have not ordered any shoes yet on Bluefly; I've had moderate success with the pants I ordered there, moderate success with handbags, but a high success rate with sweaters and particularly outerwear and accessories including jewelry. Be sure to check out the earrings, necklaces, and brooches on Bluefly. I have never seen anyone wearing the same item, or even the same style of item, and I always get tons of compliments on the cashmere/wool coats I got off Bluefly for under $200 as well as the earrings and brooches I have purchased there. I think that items you find on Bluefly, if it is compatible with your style, will be classic additions to your wardroab that will be with you for a long time.
Make sure you try to get a coupon that gets you free shipping or at least a coupon that offsets the shipping cost, because then you can feel no obligation to keep merchandise you order as you will not be out any shipping fees. As long as you agree to apply your purchase to store credit instead of a refund to your credit card, returns do not cost you anything, so be sure to return anything that does not completely charm you. Even though I am disappointed when a Bluefly is not quite as attractive to me in reality as it was in the picture or does not fit me as well as anticipated, I always enjoy getting store credit trying to get that perfect catch again!
