I placed an order at the beginning of April for myself, son and my husband. We've already started to receive all our magazines. I have to say I was very surprised to have started to receive our magazines after only 6 weeks. I was leery when placing my order since I've had a bad experience in the past with another magazine company. I will definitely be using Best Deal Magazines for any other magazine subscriptions I need.

I have had nothing but great experiences with this company. In Jan 2012 I ordered 9 mags for upcoming birthdays in April and May. All 9 mags arrived well before each person's birthday and I couldn't be happier. When I needed customer service I called the 800# and left a msg which was promptly returned by the customer service manager. I love that I am always able to find a discount coupon code too. I will continue to use Best Deal Magazines.

This is not a legitimate business. They offered 78 issues of Forbes magazine for $41.12 if you'd sign up to get other offers from them. I signed up. They sent me a LOT of email offers. After a number of weeks I contacted them because the magainze didn't come. I got an automated respone (NOTE: All of their "automated" responses get through... and all of their "Offers" get through).

They said wait 14 weeks.

I waited 15 weeks. Contacted them again. Again got an automated response that they'd get back to me. They didn't.

I called them. Left my phone number. They never returned my call.

I sent mail to the VICE President Email address there: vicepresident@BestDealMagazines.com. Finally I got a response:

"the publisher, however, rejected and returned to the clearinghouse due to decreased circulation needs of the publisher at that time"

Then... just HOURS LATER... They said sure, I could get the magazine, but pay DOUBLE!

So, this is just a scam. If you forget about it over the 15 weeks, you lose. If you remember, they finally talk to you.

I am still waiting on a refund.

They are NOT a real company. I highly recommend you not do business with them.

If they were legitimate, they would have executed my order rather than double the price.

I ordered 2 magazine back in Decemeber of 2008.My credit card was charged and I thought I was on my way to receiving 2 new subscriptions.

Never got the magazines, so after waiting the required 14 weeks, sometime in April of 2009 I emailed the customer service email address. After about a week or so, someone contacted me back...it appeared that Best Deal magazine had no records of my credit card being charged, nor did they have record of my order. After giving them some required information, they were finally able to find my credit card charge somewhere in their system. It was not until June of 2009 that i finally received my first magazine (6 months later). It's not September, and back in August, about 2 weeks ago, I emailed BDM AGAIN because I STILL have not received the second magazine. a week later (last week) i got an snwer back from Customer Service saying that she had put in a inquirery with the clearing house of the second magazine, thought it may take 2 weeks to hear back. ON friday of last week, I replied that that wsa unacceptable and that I wanted to speak to a manager by Wednesday (this week) and get my money back. Never heard back

Again yesterday, i sent an email stating that I was going to let the BBB know of this situation. Of course I heard right back. This time, the manager has been out of town and that she would contact me when she returned.

Today I received a message on my phone that low and behold! I would be receiving my FIRST issue of the magazine by the middle of Spetember for the October issue.

That's TEN MONTHS between the time I was charged and the time I'll be (hopefully)receiving my subscription.

BDM will not be getting any further of my business. The first time in April, I was undertanding of the issue (though I still don't know how they had no record of my charge or order). This time, not so understanding.

Seller is legit. I took advantage of a Consumer Reports Deal of Day offer. Their website is laid out a little strange. If I searched for the deal item I would not get the Deal of Day price. Once I realized that I went back to the home page and ordered through their link.

Cons: Took 3 months before 1st issue arrived (they did warn the industry AVG is 8-14 wks.)

Also did not get my CashBack until I filed an investigation with fatwallet which was quickly credited by fw once I emailed them a copy of the receipt.

I used to use BestDealMagazines for all my magazine orders. But my recent experiences have been quite poor. I'm going to find a new magazine retailer. Their customer service is horrible. A note about gift cards: The web site says they only let you use one gift card per order. What they don't tell you is that you have to use a gift card all at once. So if you have a $20 gift card, but only want to order $8 worth of magazines, you'll be out the other $12.

Orders are hit or miss. Either you get them or don't. Don't rely on this company. In fact, save yourself the stress and don't order from them. The customer service does not exist. If I didn't get 1 of the 4 subscriptions I signed up for OVER 6 MONTHS AGO, I'd say it was a scam. Oh wait, it is a scam. They tell me to wait so long to be sure the subscriptions won't come, I can no longer dispute the credit card charge. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM.

Still waiting for a subscription to THE Week ordered 12/22/04.

Emailed a week ago, after waiting over 4 months for a weekly magazine I saw here on FW. I still have not gotten a response, so much for BestDealMagazines.com FAQ's solution:

The clearinghouse does not consider the order to be late until 14 weeks has passed. If this amount of time has passed and you have not received your first issue, please let me know so I can have the clearinghouse look into your order. TO DO THIS, PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS MESSAGE WHICH MUST INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS, THE APPROXIMATE DATE OF YOUR ORDER OR THE CONFIRMATION E-MAIL WE SENT YOU AND THE TITLE OF THE MAGAZINE(S) INVOLVED TO:

Emailed and followed the instructions to the letter, both times....no reply. The phone number listed is NOT for "customer service" there is no phone number for customer service only email, and is only ph # is a voicemail line....
