not very good service. i cancelled my order before i was given notice of shipment, then they still sent it and charged me for shipping. unacceptable practices. avoid this merchant at all costs.

Great prices. Got a portable hard drive for $100 less than hardline and online stores plus it was in stock which wasn't the case with most of the stores. Ordered Monday night got it delivered on Thursday. Used the free stuff link from Toadster and got a free ab roller. Pretty cool! Will definitely order from them again.

Been very pleased with the products i have found here. Ordered several time and been amazed at the shipping times. Not every company jumps this quick to get your product to you. They are not always the cheapest, but are very competitive on what they have. Just my two cents.

I tried to order a case and the information was so unclear that I had to call them direct. Some high pitched person answered and just put me on hold for a long time. When she came back she didn't know anything about the product so she transferred me to someone who acted like he could care less. He told me the options listed on a case were no longer optional after I directed him how to find it on his own website. I suggested he should update his website.

I then placed the order, and days letter got an email saying they didn't have this item anymore. I have already ordered my motherboard, etc so now I have to order another case. Can't comment on the quality because I didn't get anything yet but the quality of service is such that I'll order my case from New Egg. These folks make me nervous.

I am a system builder here in Houston, TX and have been doing business with directron for nearly 5 years now and have always been very impressed with the professionalism they offer. Not to mention the great customer service and product prices. i will continue to support you in your recent move to the extremly large wharehouse and continue to send you customers. Thanks directron
and keep up the good work

Absolutely Horrible. I tried to work for these people but they are horribly run. The are inefficient, inorganized and mistreat their employees. System Builders are forced to juggle several tasks along with systems such as RMA and tech support. AND they only get paid $7 an hour for it. They yell at you if you build less than three computers every two hours. They yell at you if they feel like it also. The systems they build for people are the cheapest parts, they fight RMA every step of the way. Never order a system from them, they are constructed in conditions comparable to a sweat shop. You will get a better price at xoxide, axcion tech, nutrend, gameve, ibuypower or almost any other system builder. Most retail computer parts are packaged and therefore ok, but if you get a DOA expect a hassle to get it replaced sometimes. For Houston customers they do allow you to pick up your package but the front desk people are usually ill mannered and sometimes even disrespectful to the customer. Working there was hell, I feel sorry for the poor old chinese guy they make instal windows onto all the computers. They yell at him and call him stupid almost at every chance. If you must have the part fast in houston, try axcion tech. Otherwise Newegg rules.

Ordered a Pioneer dvd drive on a weekend, it shipped the following Monday. Price was $35 shipped versus $39 at Newegg. My first time with this merchant, I was quite impressed particularly with their thorough and timely confirmations.

They offered prompt shipping and fair shipping prices. They also have an unusually large assortment of parts for the "quiet pc", with fans having listed noise ratings. Some of the quieter fans can be only found at directron. A lot of the items have higher than average prices, but there are deals to be had there. Worth a visit to see the "quiet pc" parts though.
