I was pleased with the items I ordered from Boscovs. Having never heard of the store I was a little worried, but I am definately happy. They ended up being out of 2 of the things that I had ordered but I was mostly shopping the clearance sections and wear common sizes, so it happens from time to time. But the shoes I did get are great and the prices were fantastic! Thanks!

I order a lot of stuff online from Boscovs and I do mean lots of stuff. I've been lucky I guess, but honestly no issues thus far. Fast shipping. Large orders are usually shipped in separate boxes, but always packed with care with quality packing materials. Items are 99% perfect condition. I have purchased everything from cosmetics, clothing, electronics and garden gadgets. Very pleased with merchant and merchandise.

this store is a CRAPHOLE in every way. Displays, merchandise, service, restrooms stink. I cant think of one positive experience I have had shopping there. This past monday evening at the HAZLETON, PA store was the final straw for me. Went to purchase makeup at the Clinique COUNTER, I was ignored completely from LANCOME and the fragrance girl could not find items. THANKS for waisting my time. AGAIN. It wont ever happen again. I look forward to the day you announce that you will be closing to make way for something better.

6/27/08 We chose to use Boscov's to purchase some kitchen appliances..we are furnishing a new home and a small vacation spot. We needed alot of basics and some beautiful things as well as some fun stuff. We found all the essential items needed to set up a kitchen really well. Plus we needed alot for our new home in the way of some beautiful crystal vases and picture frames. We purchased everything from Boscov's as mentioned, plus numerous great quality cutting boards, loads of toys with great discounts...I've all ready completed my Christmas shopping for 2008. Great deals and discounts! Plus, we Always waited for their free shipping offer. We bought thousands $$ of dollars with Boscov's and had Great customer service! For the 14" Lenox vases we purchased, we saved over 50% apiece. Great selection of coffee makers at terrific prices. Check out their HOT BUYS and INCREDIBLE DOORBUSTERS...I also CLEANED UP buying some great perfume/cologne gift sets that were Discounted, and arrived safely...what savings and what fun..from contemporary names/brands to classics. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars to save big. My first four purchases with the store were all close to $50 each, with free shipping...I was amazed how much I got for the money, and how much was saved! Notice...Boscov's is the last and largest Independent Department store chain, the've been around since 1921, and they take their online business and customers very seriously, being gracious and helpful...I was surprised at some of the very negative reports that I've read here...Boscov's offers some healthy department store competition in the U.S. Much needed in our opinion. From glassware to wallets, to home accessories that are unique, we got a very special deal early on in 2008...everyday dishes, a setting for 12! that are attractive for $30.!! and free shipping. Come on...if you are a good bargain shopper with a keen eye for quality and like the classic and the unique, order from Boscov's online...they try to please, with cutomer service, you get real people, right away, whom I found polite and helpful. It's been such a fun experience...from barware to autovacs, Boscov's is a Great Adventure in Shopping..plenty of e-mails, packing slips with all the info. and prices listed, and there are the surprise category in your shopping bag for today's price where I have scored more unexpected discounts...and they sometimes give you a bunch of free gifts...I'll keep shopping online, we live far away on the west coast...Go for It...you won't have any regrets...take advantage of the free shipping with a $50 purchase...keep track of your savings, do some comparison shopping, nearly all the items will be competively priced or have a much lower discount price! Stay away from this ripoff merchant. A simple order for 3 pair of jeans has turned into a nightmare of overcharges. It's impossible to reach anyone with any sense on the phone and they don't respond to emails. I'm turning my situation over to the Attorney General of Maryland and reversing the charge with my credit card company.

What a huge waste of time. I tried to purchase some items while a sale was on. Their web site simply would not let me complete checkout even though everything was perfectly in order.
So, I called the next day - sale was over. They did say they'd give me the sale price, but that my order had to be handled by their "bulk" department. That was about 10 days ago. I have since called twice and both times was promised a call back. NADA. I'm on the phone with them right now, but, personally, I don't hold much hope.

Total rip off. I ordered one item which was priced $10 on the web site. They charged me $9 for shipping. When I got the item, there was a clearance sticker on it with a price of $5! Not only that, but the huge clearance sticker was glued on with some strong glue and it ripped the item's packageing when I tried to take it off. They just happen to have the exact item I was looking for as a gag gift or I would have never ordered from them. They charged me $19 for a $5 item. That is ridiculous. Avoid this place.

I've just had a "Nightmare before Christmas" thanks to Boscov's. I placed an online order for the ONE TOY my child wanted for Christmas. There was no indication that the item might not be available. They sent an email that said my order was being processed & I'd get another email when my item shipped. "WHEN" not "IF". It took them over a week to send me an email to say the item is out of stock. This would be irritating anytime, but at Christmas time it's inexcusable. They obviously don't know the meaning of customer service. I do lots of online shopping, but I will never deal with Boscov's again.
