I've made some bad experiences just recently. After ordering my first time from Delias a few months ago, I've tried to do it again 2 weeks ago. A few days later I've received a message from Delias that they need the following information from me: A fax with a copy of my credit card from the front and back!; also my photo ID and a written statement that I'm the owner of this credit card. They told me that this is an usual procedure with international shipping. But it has to be said that on my first order they didn`t ask for that. I just ordered 2 items ($70) this time and I didn't understand that at all. I told that them with an email from me and hoped that we can solve this problem. I just didn't understand this. I ordered from the Abercrombie shop before and they asked me (a large order!) to fax them my last credit card statement so they can see that the billing address is the same as the credit card owner. I understood that. But how can Delias expect me to send them such private information with fax? Because I was so frustrated I sent them a view emails. Unfortunately they didn't even response to some of them. Nice customer service! Sorry for this long text but I had to share my hole story. Now I have time until 03/31/08 to send them the information or the order will be canceled. I'm still thinking what to do. Any suggestions?

I agree with Beckyshop. I love Delia's, and I've never had a problem with them. I've ordered clothes maybe 6 times in the past 2 years, and visited their stores in malls. They have tons of cute stuff, most of the time. And it's not outrageously expensive.

I dont kno wat is wrong with you people. I love Delias and I buy alot of clothes from there. For one they always have great deals and discounts so its not expensive...and I happen to really like the way their clothes look and fit. I've never had a bad experiance with Delias in my life. Delias rocks my socks <3

BTW, I think their clothes are only ok. The design is good. But the quality is bad. Shoes are better because they have Puma.

First time ordered from this company and already had a bad experience. First, they shipped me a wrong item. I called first in order to check the stock. The lady told me that I can place another order first and then return the clothes I have got later. Later when she asked me for my credit card info, I was confused because I thought it was an exchange. Then that was the time she started to explain that it was a new order and they would give me store credit after getting the clothes I return. Then they never email me anything about how many credits they give to me. I have to call them to ask after half a month.

Ordered a pair of Pumas on clearance from Delias that were 50% less than on Zappos.com. Shoes arrived with a slight scuff mark, as if it had been returned by another customer, but nothing drastic. Shipping took about 2 weeks to arrive.

I have been a Delia's customer for more than 8 years. Actually I WAS a Delia's customer for 8 years. I have probably ordered from them at least 40 times over the years and I've ordered everything from clothes to bedding to accessories. My last couple of purchases from Delia's have however ended my business with them. For the past 2 years their customer service has plummeted. Their representatives are rude and condescending especially when you ask about extra money charged to your credit card or not understanding why your Discount Domain membership wasn't applied to things that are on sale in the Discount Domain. What a rip off that is by the way. I love the numerous articles on "sale" in the discount domain that when they finally ring up as you are about to check out aren't really on sale. Don't ever cancel your Discount Domain membership and expect to get any money back! They keep it all regardless and just be warned that they keep charging your card each year whether you want them to or not! And let me just tell you about their shipping practices! You pay an arm and a leg to have your clothes sent to you and it takes them more than 2 weeks to get to you even though you paid to have them express sent to you. And God forbid you should call them to complain about that. The clothes have gotten cheap, never in stock, and since they've now sold out to Puma, Paul Frank and numerous other companies you can go ahead to your local mall and get all the same stuff for cheaper AND not have to pay to have them sent to you. The same goes for their sister company Alloy. I highly recommend not giving this company your hard earned money. They don't deserve it.

As much as I love Delias clothes and accessories, I find their customer service people to be very rude and abrupt. I have ordered from them on many occasions and have been quite happy, until recently. I spoke to a couple of their people in regards to my order which was an exchange and had been backordered for awhile and was asking some questions about how to use the credit towards a new purchase. The woman, Crystal, rudely told me that I didn't have a credit anymore and made it sound like I had forced them to give me a credit for a discount deal which was for new orders only not exchange orders. She made it sound like I was trying to scam them. I would strongly recommend not ordering from Delias.com, but if you do, try not to have to speak to their reps.

I had extremely bad experiences with Delias.com. I had ordered from them for at leat 6 times. So my experiences would be very valuable to most ppl. Their website database update slowly. Items shown as *in stock* on their website are not true. They might have been out of order. You would only know they have been out of order only when you found out your order has been cancelled without any notice or only when you recieved your package. I had ordered a complete set of swimmsuit, but only got my bottom shipped. They canceled my order without any notice sent to me, just because they ran out of the top. Well, the swimmsuit of course is not wearable with the top. In general, their database is so worse that you have to be good luck enough to get your items; otherwise you might ended up only getting only 3.99 panty shipped with paying 5.95 shipping for it! Besides, their merchandize quality is pretty bad. They feel cheap and not worth of the money they charged. I stronly donot recommend this website.

I only ordered once, I loved the shoes I got! The clothes seemed to run small and I returned them. UNBELIEVABLE how fast they processed my refund. Nice and easy transaction.
