I purchased 10 items for my daughter for Christmas. Delias took forever to ship. I ended up with 5 shipments from order time of November 3rd to January 3rd 2013. Returned items as instructed through store and through mail using their shipping label. Have not received any refunds. They claim they never received any items. What a hassle. Now have to do a charge-back and of course have to deal with PayPal. One charge-back is not within the 45 days of original order even though the shipping is by the time we received it. NIGHTMARE store to deal with. If you have ever been to their store not a real joy. Very messy with clothes crammed. Also, they discounted one item 50% in store, when we tried to cancel it they stated they had already shipped it. NIGHTMARE store/policies. They tell you it takes 2-3 weeks to refund your money which will place you way behind on the charge-back time. DO NOT SHOP at Delias!

My daughter loves clothing from dEliA's, and they usually fit her well, but I've had a lot of trouble getting orders from them shipped this fall. I have to admit that the Hurricane "Sandy" probably made things more difficult. But one shipment, ordered well before her birthday on Oct.27, still has not arrived by Nov.23. Pretty late for a birthday gift. The website shows it as not yet even packed ("picked up") for shipping. My cousin also ordered something before the Oct.27 birthday, and that item hasn't arrived either. At least it's scheduled to arrived Nov.28. One month and one day after the birthday.

I had the same experience as acroelliemae and many others on this list. I ordered two items on June 2nd and never received my order. I have made a similar number of attempts to contact them with promises of callbacks and no one did. I looked up their Corporate offices phone number: 212-590-6200. I plan to call them tomorrow. I am contacting my credit card company to deny the charges. This is the second bad experience with Delias and my last purchase ever from this store. I STRONGLY recommend that you be wary when ordering. You most probably will not get your items as promised and will spend too much time running after your order. Delias is no longer reputable in my opinion.

I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH Delias AGAIN - EVER. THEY HAPPILY AND READILY ACCEPT YOUR MONEY AND SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES. HOWEVER, WHEN IT IS TIME TO RESPOND TO A PROBLEM YOU HAVE WITH AN ITEM YOU RECIEVED, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR TWO DAYS. I CALLED - HOLD TIME OF 32 MINUTES. WHEN 30 MINUTES PASSED, I WAS DISCONNECTED. I CALLED AGAIN, TRIED THE "CALL BACK" OPTION WHERE I PROVIDE MY TELE NUMBER AND THEY PROMISE A CALL BACK IN ORDER OF CALLS RECEIVED. I RECEIVED A CALL BACK 55 MINUTES LATER, BEGAN SPEAKING WITH HEATHER, AND WITHIN 30 SECONDS WAS DISCONNECTED. TRIED THREE MORE TIMES, WITH THREE CALL BACKS. EACH TIME, THE CALL WAS DISCONNECTED AT THE ORIGIN OF THE CALL. DAY TWO - I AM CURRENTLY ON HOLD GOING ON 25 MINUTES. I'M REALLY UPSET. I HAVE A FULL TIME JOB AND THIS HAS TAKEN A GREAT DEAL OF TIME AND FRUSTRATION OUT OF MY DAYS. ORIGINAL PROBLEM. TWO PIECE SWIM SUIT ORDERED - PAID $64 INCLUDING SHIPPING AND HANDLING. I RECEIVED THE BOTTOMS BUT MUCH TOO LARGE FOR MY DAUGHTER. CALLED TO RETURN/EXCHANGE FOR SMALLER SIZE. THEY NO DISCONTINUED THE ITEM. ADDITIONALLY, THE TOP WAS BACKORDERED. HAD TO CANCEL TOP AND RETURN BOTTOMS. I RECEIVED A GIFT CARD FOR $15.34. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? I PAID $64 INCLUDING SHIPPING! THIS IS A DECEPTIVE ORGANIZATION AND I WOULD CAUTION ANYONE TO BE VERY WARY OF BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY. I AM A COMPANY OWNER MYSELF AND IF WE EVER TREATED OUR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY - WE WOULD HAVE GONE OUT OF BUSINESS A LONG TIME AGO. DELIA'S NEEDS A WAKE-UP CALL - YOU MAY HAVE ACCUMULATED MANY CUSTOMERS OVER THE YEARS (I KNOW - I HAVE 5 TEENAGE DAUGHERS) BUT IF HALF THE PEOPLE YOU SERVICE HAVE THE SAME TYPE OF HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - YOUR COMPANY WILL CEASE TO EXIST IN THE COMING YEARS.

I was so disappointed by Delias. Don't get me wrong, their clothes are great, but they have been screwing with me for too long. They consistently don't have anything in stock, and when you go to order something they don't tell you its out of stock until you order it, when it saws "backordered for another month". i recently "bought" (never got it) a coat. I loved it, and it was supposed to come in a week. Then it said it would come in a month. I ordered it in january, it was supposed to come in march. Then it actually CANCELED my order saying that it wasn't legally allowed to. I had left over money on the card so i bought a bikini and it was on sale, so why the hell not? well i ordered it last week (3/4/2012) it said it would come in 7-10 days. didn't mention ANYTHING about it being backordered. its "supposed" to come now be available on 4/18/2012 and 4/22/2012. i was so upset because this is what happened to me at first with the coat, so i assume it will never come. I called customer service, some teenager (its very hard to yell at teenagers) told me that if i called the day it was supposed to come than they could cancel it. again.

I HAVE ORDERED LOTS OF ITEMS FROM Delias,I LOVE THE ITEMS BUT LAST 3 WEEKS I CAN NOT OPEN THE WEBSITE.I LIVE IN TURKEY,MY SISTER AND SOME OF FRIENDS LIVES IN USA,I SENT MY ORDERS TO THEM AND THEY SENT ME BECAUSE Delias DOES NOT SHIP TO TURKEY. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT Delias WEBSITE?CAN YOU ENTER?I CAN NOT WAITING FOR URGENT REPLIES...THANX

I've made some bad experiences just recently. After ordering my first time from Delias a few months ago, I've tried to do it again 2 weeks ago. A few days later I've received a message from Delias that they need the following information from me: A fax with a copy of my credit card from the front and back!; also my photo ID and a written statement that I'm the owner of this credit card. They told me that this is an usual procedure with international shipping. But it has to be said that on my first order they didn`t ask for that. I just ordered 2 items ($70) this time and I didn't understand that at all. I told that them with an email from me and hoped that we can solve this problem. I just didn't understand this. I ordered from the Abercrombie shop before and they asked me (a large order!) to fax them my last credit card statement so they can see that the billing address is the same as the credit card owner. I understood that. But how can Delias expect me to send them such private information with fax? Because I was so frustrated I sent them a view emails. Unfortunately they didn't even response to some of them. Nice customer service! Sorry for this long text but I had to share my hole story. Now I have time until 03/31/08 to send them the information or the order will be canceled. I'm still thinking what to do. Any suggestions?

I agree with Beckyshop. I love Delia's, and I've never had a problem with them. I've ordered clothes maybe 6 times in the past 2 years, and visited their stores in malls. They have tons of cute stuff, most of the time. And it's not outrageously expensive.

I dont kno wat is wrong with you people. I love Delias and I buy alot of clothes from there. For one they always have great deals and discounts so its not expensive...and I happen to really like the way their clothes look and fit. I've never had a bad experiance with Delias in my life. Delias rocks my socks <3

BTW, I think their clothes are only ok. The design is good. But the quality is bad. Shoes are better because they have Puma.
