I purchased an ASUS SK8N motherboard, AMD Athlon 64 FX CPU, and a cooling fan. They did have the best price I found, and they said it was in stock, many other website were backordered at the time. The website stated that it usually ships the next day, and I used next day air. Later the same day I purchased ram from www.monarchcomputer.com, they also had the motherboard and processor in stock, but cost a little more, and their shipping was a little higher. Right now it is five days later, I have had the ram just sitting on my desk for 3 days, and I don't even know if the motherboard and processor have been shipped, or maybe they are backordered! Seems to be popular! They send me a confirmation that it has been shipped, but I just don't know what has been shipped, no tracking number, and no carrier information. I attempted to contact via e-mail, still no response. I contacted all the delivery services and inquired how long it would take the average package of this type to be delivered (in state). Everyone I talked to said that it should have arrived no later than Friday based of their shipping confirmation dates. So, I'm just wondering why I paid for next day air shipping when it is still not here. I also got charged tax at this web site. I should have thought about that earlier, since it turns out I may have saved money going through Monarch Computers, combining the shipping with no tax. Then I would be playing on my new Athlon 64 FX, instead of writing about my agitation. Iíll post an update when I get one.

The package just got delivered, in my opinion it was a little late, and should have arrived Friday.

Overall: The tracking option on their website did not work once for me. I kept getting an annoying ooops thing. Very irritating. They should just give you a tracking number from FedEx, there would be no complaint, and I would not be writing this. My other complaint is that the CPU came with bent pins. It was wrapped with ESD plastic and then taped over the top with packaging tape and placed in an Ethernet card box with a few pieces of Styrofoam. It may have been better off if they just put it in the box.

I placed an order for a Sapphire Radeon 9700 OEM (non pro) video card. On my packing slip, someone crossed off the model number I ordered, wrote in a new number, and sent me a Powercolor 9700 OEM brand instead. Plus they charged me the higher price of the Sapphire even though they sent me the cheaper card (The Powercolor sold at the time for $12 less).

I wanted the Sapphire brand because it has the faster memory. If I had wanted the Powercolor I would have ordered the Powercolor. Plus they refused to refund me the difference in price claiming they sent me a retail Powercolor. It wasn't retail, there was no retail box, no game cd's, no dvi converter. I had to get into an argument with him on the phone.

Now I don't even dare send it back for a refund due to fear of them saying I didn't return the entire card (because for some reason they believe its retail, and its not). It shipped in the antistatic bag and thats it... sorry but that is OEM. They also have a 15% restocking fee.

The LEAST they could have done is cross ship me the correct card, or refund me the $12. This is plain fraud.

Charged credit card and then did not ship the item. Claimed was back ordered but did not refund credit card and stopped all communication. Item still not shipped.

yeah this place sucks, charged my credit card the next day and didn't ship my processor for a week, no email nothing. Can't call because the phone system always says no one is available to take your call and hangs up on you. Stay away from this place

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. My brother ordered me a sapphire radeon 9000 pro for my Xmas present on 12/20/02 it is now 1/13/03 no reply to emails no one is ever there when calling on the phone. Getting cc charges reversed. Again, AVOID AVOID AVOID

Seems I got duped by their low prices too. Lets see went to buy a Geforce4 TI4200. Free FedEx shipping, seems good right? Well was supposed to ship in 1-3 days. After 4 days I had no tracking number so I wrote them an email. Next day I finally get an email saying my order will be shipped out the next day, and my card was charged. Want to cancel, but since its "shipped" I dont want to pay the 15% restocking fee. So supposedly my order was shipped out, 5 days after order, instead of the 1-3 and only because I emailed them. Then FedEd 1-3 day shipping. its been 4 days, not only do I not have my package, but not even a tracking number. Not an apology or anything. Horrible customer service, and any other palce would be better.TextAVOID AT ALL COST:

I recently bought a P4 2.4 GHZ 533 FSB 512 L2 Cache and they had the lowest price on the market. This was a full retail box of the P4, great condition, great price, delivered on time, great deal. I would buy from buyXtremeGear again.

While I have read bad things about this site here (one comment), and many bad experiences at resellerratings.com, my order was shipped promptly and the product arrived as advertised and new. Your milage may vary.

Horrible customer service. Very slow shipping. Don't let their deals fool you. You'd be better off getting the same thing at newegg and paying a little more. Don't buy from these guys unless you are desperate for a deal!
