I would never use sprint - my son had to call home collect from Ohio to Michigan and they charged $ 9.60 for a TWO minute call. I will avoid all areas of SPRINT business.

Sprint's offers are excellent and when you team them up with the PCS plan where you get 50 free minutes of long distance and no $4.95 - $8.00 monthly charge for using Sprint = great savings.
I like the online bill paying of both bills. Makes it very easy to pay my bill. I like viewing my statements for both on line and not doing the paper mailing of a statement - less mail to go through and deal with.

I have only had excellent customer service experiences with them for the last 3 years.

I have tried a number of long distance companies over the years but never Sprint. The reason is because I tried Sprint once in college and the customer service was so unsatisfactory that it made a lasting impression. They attempted to bill me for a lengthy period of time for someone else's phone number and no amount of calls could fix the problem.

Flash forward to the recent present. I gave Sprint another shot because of a fantastic frequent flyer offer. I immediately had problems getting the proper credits. Eventually, I wrote to the CEO of Sprint because customer service was clearly incapable of fixing the problem.

This is the first time in my life that writing to the CEO of a company did not result in resolution. Despite many promises over many months the problem continued. I finally became so stressed over having to continue to fight with them that I quit.

Number of times in my life I gave up on a situation where a company was clearly in the wrong: 1
