My experience with Yankee Candle was great. I ordered three candles through fatwallet. The candles arrived in under a week, packaged well and with a catalog. The candles were exactly as ordered. I found the website to be user friendly and I would order from them again without hesitation.

I placed my first order from Yankee Candle but my order was cancelled without reason. I contacted customer service and they were really friendly and helpful. They even overed me a free gift card to make it up to me. It was very refreshing to see a company go out of their way to satisfy customers. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

I too have had the problem of not getting entire order,only to find out it was not in stock after calling customer service.The last time I received no order and had to call customer service only to be told I should have been notified by mail that they were out of stock and was not.
This last order,received yesterday (because of misrepresentation)in my view was their semi-annual clearance sale.It stated buy any of our pillars or 9.5oz. jar (with the price at half off)get one free.
Just got off the phone w/cs and was told rather rudely by a manager,that that was the buy one get one free.You're paying half price.They had cleared this w/the BBB ahead of time...how to deceive you.
I am getting fed up w/ordering thru their website.And their customer service sucks.

This is the second year I ordered Xmas gifts that were on sale. The order was completed without any problems same as last year. When my order arrived, I found out that 6 of my 9 items were cancelled. Took me so long to figure out the right gift for the right person. Why do I have to wait to receive my package to find out that's all I'm getting. Last year my entire order was cancelled except for a votive. After lengthly calls to customer service, they dropped the $4.99 shipping for the $.80 candle. Not worth the aggravation.

When an item I ordered was out of stock, they didn't email me -- they shipped everything else and put a note in the box. I then had to check my credit card statement to see what the revised amount they'd charged me was. I THEN had to call customer support and get them to refund the amount they'd overcharged me on shipping. They were friendly and happy to help, but I prefer an online store that keeps me informed and doesn't make mistakes requiring customer support.

On the whole, it's easier to just go into their stores -- you can find one in almost any mall. Their candles are terrific quality and come in a wide variety of styles and sizes.

The pages load very slowly. They don't have real-time stock tracking and this is irritating when ordering sale and clearance items.
