Customer service leaves much to be desired. I won an auction on the 19th of this month, and in the check out process recieved "free shipping". ON april 21 I recieved an e-mail stating my item had shipped, when it was not shipped until today the 23rd, only afte i complained that I could not track the item. I have shopped with them many times and have found that over the years the site has gone down hill. I will no longer shop with them.

I have been a long time customer of bidz.com. As such, I can attest to some other comments such as, high shipping fees and use fees. However, the quality of the majority of their products generally for the amount paid at auction is well below compariable items in the retail market. However, it is prudent to be very well versed in the differences in precious, semi precious and natural gems and stones. Without a strong basis of knowledge in the jewelry industry you can easily over pay.

Customer Support regarding warranty information is practically non-existent. It's almost impossible to get credit for items paid for that were delivered defective. Extremely fast on invoicing but not crediting for defective merchandise. Best to avoid this site unless your ordering only a few items.

On a whole, they have half decent stuff. Yes the picture looks way better than what I get, usually. I have very successful with the freshwater pearls. I have like 90% of the items I got. I have also gotten some pretty good deals,and some ok deals. They just started finally reporting my purchases to fatwallet. they did report my earlier purchases on a another clickthru site but i chose fatwallet because the rebate amount was better. they still owe me three items out of about 50 that i ordered and their customer support sucks. So i am out about $65, but I have spent $600 on their site, and gotten almost everything. they are very inconsistent with shipping and i am still waiting for the last three items i paid for. i will not buy anything more from them until they give fatwallet my updates. got some michael hero items that were definitely nice but it is had to get a good auction price. be cautious with the site and you will do ok. they are terrible at shipping.

Bidz picture of an item looks nice but when you get it, it looks nothing like the picture and not good looking to wear. They dont report CashBack and I have brought over 20 times already and non were reported. Reason I brought over 20 times is becuase other people without a computer and a internet wants to buy from them to resale. I have tried other CashBack programs and points type of program with bidz and they dont report also to them so its not just fatwallet they are not reporting it every affiliate.

Whats the point of them having a affiliate account for people if they are not going to report someone brought something. It like all those affiliates are helping them and advertising their website for no reason. Something should be done.

Like everyone is saying, the quality of this jewelry is very poor. I purchased many dollars worth of their merchandise planning to resale. After receiving the items, I decided that the quality was way to poor to try and resale so I shipped it back. I ended up paying about $275 in restocking fees. My best advice is too stay clear of this place.

The pearls I got looked nothing like the pictures.Horrible! They don't report CashBack and the shipping seems high for the amount of time it takes for it to get to its destination.

I tried this outfit several months ago and the quality was horrible. They make their money IMO on restocking fees and occasionally having people keep the overmarked junk.

The merchandise quality was extremely poor. The picture posted was NOTHING like what arrived. I returned the item and waited for a refund. I had to fight to get all my money back because the item WAS NOT like described. Unless you like low quality jewerly I say stay away. The shipping and "handling" fees drive up the low price of an item.

Changes at Bidz.com mean there are no codes in circulation for free shipping and at $8.95 plus a 3% handling charge on top of your order and your shipping ... with up to 10 days for the vendor to ship, this site is best avoided.

New Bidding mechanism prevents the low bids that were prevalent previously. Great for sellers, very poor for buyers.
