Very unpleasant experience. First you almost cannot change your order as if they're about to ship it out the next day. Then they want to recharge the processing fee. Of course, instead it takes the manufacturer 2 weeks past the estimated shipping. Had to call several times to figure out when they finally intend to ship! Customer service is trying to be helpful though. Let's see if this shipping deadline is met, otherwise I'll be back on the phone. The whole experience is below average and very slow, would have expected more professionalism from this middleman.

Avoid ordering area rugs from them. The colors are not true, both in the picture and the written colors--the difference in my order was like black and white. I have to pay to send it back and they will not refund money, only give you a store credit. I am returning rug but they can keep my $100--I want nothing from them in my house. At one time they were great to use--greed has gotten the best of them. CSR's are dumb also so there is no communication available

Here is a follow-up.
Today is Friday. American Blinds was supposed to call me to let me know of my order. They never did. I then contacted them, and they have no clue about the order and now say that it will ship out sometime next week. This is totally unacceptable and I now I have asked them for my money back.

I bought over $2800 worth of blinds from them. I received half of them, and the other I have yet to recieve. I have called the company 4-5 times over a 2 week period, and each and every time they give me a new estimated shipping date which just keeps delaying my order. What I can't understand is why have they charged my credit card for blinds that have not shipped yet and why can't they honestly tell me when I can get my order. I caution folks to think twice about doing business with them, since they are very eager to take your money, but when it comes time to deliver, they make you wait (average wait time on the phone on each call until I can talk to a supervisor is 25 minutes).
I have given the firm until this Friday to make delivery or give me a reason why the order is over 10 days delayed or else refund my money. I, for one, will never do business with them ever again

Leggo here again --- well I finally got sick of dealing with the CS reps and went to the office of the Pres. FINALLY got some results, they are going to UPS pickup the blinds and refund my $ immediately. I will buy wallpaper, (probably) but won't do blinds again.

Be WARNED. I bought the AB brand blind that is defective, fighting with AB right now. They want me to ship back at my own expense, and if they "feel" it is a defect they will reimburse me. The blind fell on my wife as she tried to pull it up! Else they will give me a store credit. Even though they say 100% guarantee, read the fine print. Should of went to Lowes, better service!

The customer representatives are courteous, but they don't have much knowlege about blinds. One representative disconnected me because she did not know how to do price match.

I've placed at least 7 orders with them over the course of about 4 years, and have always paid unbelievably low prices, the merchandise was always shipped quickly, and everything has always been accurate. The one time I called them for assistance with an order I was placing, the operator was helpful, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. They are the ONLY place I look to for all of my wallpaper/border needs.

I just ordered wood blinds from American Blind. Their prices were great, talked to them on the phone and found them to be very informative and courteous. I ordered five sets of blinds late on 10/6, and they were delivered on 10/10! Plus I got free shipping, 15% off, and FatWallet Cash Back!!! Great quality, great service, no problems!!!
I give them an A+++.

Only problem was that UPS left $800 worth of blinds on my doorstep with no signature, but that is not ABWF's fault. You can also find 10% codes around, along with them having great prices anyway.
