We all have heard about nashbar lack of security and how people's CCs were compromised without even a "sorry" from nashbar. Well, here's another be aware of the "DOG" Sign: If you care to ever buy anything from nashbar/Performance do NOT, under ANY circunstances use the PRE-ADDRESSED PRINTED RETURN LABEL included with the invoice. If you do, and since it is not DISCLOSED, (((nashbar has a way of not disclosing things))), you will more likely wait 2 to 3 months for a REFUND if you return the merchandise. Those labels are USPS JUNK labels and are only picked up every 2-3 weeks from center to center. If you live in CA and return the crap to OH you could wait 3 months for a refund from nashbar, I live in the PHOENIX Metro area and it's going on 35 days now. Shoes are still sitting downtown at the distribution center. Had to go from Scottsdale(2 weeks) to TEMPE (1 week) to PHOENIX. Someday it will be picked up and get back to Ohio, via a few more postal centers and I will get my $128 back but NOT TODAY for sure!!!!! ...and nashbar could not CARELESS instead they profit from interest on that would be refund!!!!

Nashbar often has free shipping coupons, but if you use one, be sure to check the invoice that arrives with your shipment or your online credit card statement to make sure they didn't charge you shipping. Even though the order receipt from the web site says there is no shipping charge, my experience is that shipping gets charged anyway. Resolution and a refund has been quick via a reply to the order notification email, but it is a big hassle to deal with.

I place two orders with Bike Nashbar within a short period of time online. In both cases, my final bill was higher than the invoice I received online. In one case I changed a quantity in my checkout basket, the total price recalculated, but the original quantity remained in their computer. I was shipped the larger quantity and the total was increased. I let that slide, but was more upset by my second transaction. I responded to a "place an order for $100 and get $20 off your total". When Bike Nashbar filled my order, they were out of one item ($9.99), so they removed the discount from my order because the total fell to $92.00. The end result was that they charged me more money for a partially filled order than if they had filled my order as agreed. In both cases, my dealings with customer service were less than ideal. I may be getting a partial credit, but not the full $20 discount on the most recent transaction. The best I could do on the first order was a "free shipping on your next purchase coupon" - something I am not likely to use after this experience. Be very cautious dealing with this company. Though the prices are good and quality decent, they are not a company I will use again.

I ordered several parts from Bike Nashbar and everything arrived exactly as ordered and on time. I had a discrepancy with a free shipping coupon, but they resolved it right away. After I received my order, it turned out that I ordered the wrong size for one part and I had to return and re-order it. Contrary to some of the previous reviews, my experience with their customer service was great. They were very helpful and shipped the requested replacement product right away. I requested 2-day shipping and it arrived the next afternoon. I would highly recommend Bike Nashbar for their great prices, selection, and service.

There is NO customer service at this company. After placing your order, your credit card is charged immediately but there is no response from the company. No confirmation email is sent. No response to emails or resolution from phone calls if you contact customer service. Horrible! This is the worst experience I've had ordering from an online merchant. I am now forced to contact my credit card company to reverse their charges as I have NO idea what the status of my order is. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never return to this retailer again. Use at your own risk!!

10 days after placing order, wondering where my stuff was, I asked if they could supply a tracking #. Their response was that the order was still pending. No apology offered. In other words, I only learned that my order had not been shipped because I contacted them. This is unacceptable and I will not do business there again.

I've ordered from Nashbar about a half dozen times this summer. No problems at all. I've returned items several times, and they've handled it well. Prices are great, particularly if you use coupon codes & Cash Back.

I've had the same unacceptable experience with Nashbar. It started with their not honoring the sale price of an item, then shipping the wrong items to the wrong address and failing, over the course of two months (as of this note) to do anything to rectify the situation. Customer service doesn't call back, they don't follow up and they start you at the same place (the beginning) each time you try to call and sort things out. Same thing via email. The Credit Card company and MA Consumer Protection are both now involved- suffice to say yes they have good prices on some items but if something goes awry good luck getting it sorted out. I will not do business with them again thanks to the very poor quality of their customer service department.
