Keep away from them, they are the most worst company I have seen. Rebate never come, cancelled order but haven't refund. Still struggling to get refund. Horrible experience!

FYE is the worst!!!. Thier prices are nothing short of robbery. I though Circuit City or Best Buy claimed the top honors in ripping consumers off, but FYE takes it hands down. Hi Def dvd's at $40!!!. Are you kidding me!! I was at a local FYE and found a Blu Ray dvd with a sale price of $16.99, when to check out and some RUDE sales clerk says there is no way we are selling that at that price, I stated you labeled it on sale and now you are not going to honor the price?, Again this RUDE woman states we do not have to sell it regardless. I said firt off it is not my fault you labeled it wrong and second your attitide to a customer is disgusting. I walk away and will NEVER shop with them again.

Just like everyone else on here--I'm in the midst of a HORRIBLE experience with FYE.com's customer service and return process. I can't even muster the energy to explain what's happening, but just know their Customer Service is AWFUL and they don't give you money back when you send your items RETURN TO SENDER. They FORCE you to pay for shipping/tracking even when you canceled the items and were told the order was canceled. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. Logging a BBB complaint against them as well.

After spending 2 hours searching and finding the CDs and DVDs that I wanted, printing off the rebate forms, etc, I find I could not use my PayPal GC. Now it's a matter of email tag and I am so disgusted, I am going elsewhere. Never again will I deal with them.

I made my purchase for the Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition 14 Disk Set. It was listed as backordered. It said "if the item becomes in stock in the next 30 days, we will ship it to you." Two days later I received a cancellation notice with no explanation. At that time I noticed that it was back in stock at three times the price.

I replied to that e-mail, no response.

I went to their web site where the only contact information is a form, which I filled out. No response.

10 days later, I did a whois on their domain and got their phone number. I got an answering machine. I left a message.

Then I called again and hit zero, I got an operator who, upon hearing why I was calling, transfered me to the same voice mail.

I called back and talked the operator into taking my number and having someone call me back the same day. When they called back, I wasn't near the phone, so they left a message. The message told me that this had been a price mistake, apologised, and told me to call back if I had anything else that they could help me with.

That same day, my e-mail was responded to, stating that they followed their pricing policy which says they don't have to honor anything and stating that this followed the FTC's policy.

Having been a law student, I replied stating that offer and acceptance law under the UCC (which is in force in NY, where they are located) forces them to honor the price; that the FTC agrees with this, and that the supreme court has upheld this as well.

They replied "read the FTC law"

I did, the FTC says that state law governs and state law refers to the UCC and the UCC is just as I stated it.

Complaints are pending with the FTC, New York State, and the BBB (note that they are already rated unsatisfactory by the BBB).

Worst online store I have ever used! They cannot honor their own price clearly list on the website. They setup a low price trap to get people's attention and attract customer to give up their info (credit card and setup a account). When they see too many people were ordering, they slightly rasied price (by $10) the next day. Bet there were still orders pouring in and they put price back to original ($55) the 3rd day. After 3 weeks without shipping, they sent an email saying they had a system price error and cancelled all the orders. Then they offered a 10% off coupon valid for only few hours. How can you trust these guys any more. Worst liar I have ever experienced! Will never back again!

Keep you waiting for months saying an in stock item is now backordered. Say they'll work to find the items and then cancel claiming a price mistake.

Worst company ever. They out-right lie to their customers. Avoid these people like the plague.

Absolute shame. Pathetic service. Believe what all others have to say. They will bait you with special promotion or low prices. Get your card number. Then wont ship. Apologies for delay saying produt out of stock. And then send a cancellation mail saying there was a pricing error. Lets drive this looser of a company out of business. If thre was a pricing error in the first place, why say that product is out of stock and will ship soon (while still having the product on the website for all to order!)Bunch of liars!
