I ordered a Dimage Z2 online from these guys and then called the same day to see how long it would be before I received my camera. I was told 10 days. When I called later in the week, I was told it was on back order and would be another 3 weeks. I called today (3 weeks later) and asked when it would be shipped and was told "any day now". I called a second time and asked for a specific date and was told "not any time soon." Ugh... The website still says it's available. Only good thing they did was send me a confirmation of cancellation. Hopefully they won't charge me credit card.

My 2c advise: Stay the hell out of these spammers -- I think all the lower price markers like Bilibi have one website and one customer service with different look and feel and company names. Following is a gist of how my conversation went thru with them.

Is this one of those tactics to make a customer run around you guys for something you advertised which is not REALLY TRUE?

I made an order thru Online: I got the order# and you sent me a mail saying call us to confirm. When I call you guys I don't get anybody for 15 minutes and finally when I do, you say the systems are down call back in an hour.

Why don't you guys cancel my order if I am not going to receive this camera for the following price? I am only interested in the camera for the advertised price and nothing else.

Thanks

Thanks for your response. Can you please tell me what does the package contain for that price as I don't see any thing spelled out exactly.
Thanks

Ordering at Bilibi could not be a poorer experience. They basically lie on the website about item in stock and then call you back to say it is backordered. I order a Canon Optura 200 because they were considerably less than everyone else (50 bucks). I submitted the order and then got a call trying to sell me accessories from them. I denied and then got another call that it would be three weeks to get the camera. The order status never got updated and I just waited since I was not in a rush. Four weeks into the process, I got a email saying the order was cancelled! No reason, no call. I called them and then they said it was on the way! To cut to the chance, it came five week into the order and the price was great but the order was terrible!

Dont bother using them.

I ordered an Olympus C4000z from them in late Nov 2002. At that time I didn't know about FW and used yahoo search and PriceScan. Both of these websites told me that Bilibi is a reliable company to do business with. And I checked the price, although theirs is not the lowest, it was pretty acceptable.

Before I placed the order, I called and they told me the camera was in stock and I can place my order without buying anything else (usually overpriced items). So I placed the order. They sent me an email telling me to call them and confirm the order.

So I did. The CSR tried to lure me into buying one of the useless accesories of this camera, but he failed. Then he told me the item would not be shipped until 6 weeks later. I asked him why and he transfered my phone call to another person. That SOB started to speak to me in some never-heard-of language. When I corrected him that I DO speak English, he hang up.

It took me another 2 hrs to reach someone again and cancelled my order. They didn't send me any cancellation email. So I have to send them another email and asked them to do so. They did.

I guess I would not buy anything from these guys again. Nor will I trust yahoosearch and pricescan again.

DON'T SHOP AT BILIBI.COM
PLEASE TELL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
DON'T EVEN THINK OF BUYING ANYTHING AT BILIBI.COM!!!!
WE PURCHASED A NIKON DIGITAL CAMERA FROM THEM LAST AUGUST. THE COMPANY WEBSITE STATES THAT ALL PRODUCTS ARE NEW AND INCLUDE THE MANUFACTURER'S USA WARRANTY (SEE SNAPSHOT BELOW). WHEN OUR ORDER ARRIVED, IT DID NOT HAVE THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY CARD (WHICH WAS LISTED ON THE MATERIALS LIST ENCLOSED WITHIN THE BOX).
I FIRST CONTACTED THE COMPANY IN SEPTEMBER TO OBTAIN A WARRANTY CARD. I WAS TOLD A CARD WOULD BE IN THE MAIL. NO CARD WAS EVER SENT.
I SUBSEQUENTLY CONTACTED THEM AGAIN IN OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, AND MOST RECENTLY THIS MONTH (VIA EMAIL AND PHONE). FINALLY, AN ENVELOPE ARRIVED IN THE MAIL THIS WEEK.
THE ENVELOPE CONTAINED A THIRD-PARTY WARRANTY CARD, NOT A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY CARD (THIS THIRD-PARTY CARD IS USELESS BECAUSE IT REQUIRES THAT IT BE SENT IN WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE).
I CONTACTED THE COMPANY -- AGAIN -- AND EXPLAINED THAT I NEEDED A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY CARD, NOT A THIRD PARTY WARRANTY. THE "CUSTOMER SERVICE MIS-REPRESENTATIVE" AT BILIBI TRIED TO CONVINCE ME THAT THIS WAS IN FACT A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY CARD (IT, MOST ASSUREDLY, IS NOT).
FURTHERMORE, THE COMPANY SENT A PHOTOCOPIED MANUAL FOR THE CAMERA, WHICH VIOLATES THE COPYRIGHT HELD BY NIKON. IF YOU PURCHASED A PRODUCT FROM BILIBI WITH
EITHER A PHOTOCOPIED MANUAL OR "BURNED" CD'S, CONTACT NIKONUSA TO LET THEM KNOW.
BOTTOM LINE, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY MISREPRESENT THEIR PRODUCTS, THEY'LL GIVE YOU THE RUN-AROUND, AND YOU WILL BE THE ONE THAT GETS SCREWED!!!!
