I would never give them my business again. One week ago, I ordered 2 bags and day after I recieved my order confirmation, I got an email re a delay. However, the letter re the delay was 6 days ago. I wrote them an email to follow-up re the order on day 6 b/c it's a xmas present, but no reply. Finally, today (1 week from purchase), I called them and was told that they were "out of stock" of the luggage I had ordered ONE WEEK PRIOR. Thank God I didn't find out any later as it was a xmas gift! I usually purchase from luggagebase.com (who is great btw), but they were out of stock of the color I wanted which is why I ordered from Irv's. Never again! The excuse I got was that they had a "new system" in place. Frankly, while that excuse may buy them a couple of days, 1 week (and perhaps longer if I didn't call) is unacceptable, esp. around the holiday season.

I was bait and almost switched. They tried to get me to buy a more expensive version of the same bag, and when I said "No, cancel the order if you are out of stock" they offered to order the bag I wanted directly from the manufacturer. I got the sense they always had the one I wanted in stock, but wanted to see me something else. I canceled the order completely and refused to deal with them.
