BE AWARE!!!!! It is not Vision Direct's policy to do any more than the following:

(1) Fax your doctor to verify Rx
(2) Wait 8 business hours
(3) Fill order even if not verified by your Dr
If Vision Direct's fax to your Dr. to verify your Rx is not received, and/or not verified by your Dr, they don't care. They will fill it without the doctor's verification - claiming that the doctor's lack of response is a "passive verification", and that the law allows them to do this as long as they have waited 8 hours! Even though their site claims they will verify your Rx, this is as far as it goes, folks.
Unless you really really know that your Rx entered on your order is 100% correct, BE AWARE. It took me three phone calls to Vision Direct and numerous trips to my doctor to get no more than a 50% DISCOUNT ON THE NEXT ORDER "to correct the problem". MY DOCTOR NEVER RECEIVED THEIR FAX!!!
Their CS folks are very aware that their policy is to simply ship out the Rxs and charge you as quickly as possible. It took no time for anyone involved to immediately read their printed response and READ ALOUD "we accept no blame" and 3 calls to move up to a 50% discount for simply buying more from them.

I tried to purchase 6 boxes of contacts today through the Fat Wallet page. After entering everything in, I kept receiving an error saying they couldn't verify my identity. The identity I had just entered as a new customer. So, it won't allow me to complete the purchase. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I saved $90.32 on an order of (8) Acuvue Oasys with the discount codes listed on fatwallet.com and Vision Direct's 105% price match guarantee. While some may complain about the $1.95 processing fee, the amount I saved showed this outlet to offer the best price and rather quick delivery.

Customer service was helpful with little to no waiting.

i had a purchasing problem that was a doctor mistake. VisionDirect.com took care of shipping the correct product for free and allowing me to return the incorrect product at now charge (just pay shipping).

This is a merchant I'd definitely avoid. They had my contacts as "in stock" and 3 days later told me they were backordered and had no idea how long it would take to get them in stock. Additionally they charge a $1.95 processing fee that they sneak into the confirmation page (after you've already entered all your information). Shady at best.

I've purchased contact lenses from Vision Direct several times now. In the past, I've only gotten them from my eye care professional. Both times I requested a speedy next day delivery which costs $20 and well worth it. Also both times, they needed to contact my eye care professionals to get new prescriptions and the order arrived on time still. Now if only I can get an eye test online too..

They held up my order for 5 days waiting for my doctor to respond. My doctor's office is notoriously slow. They failed to adhere to federal regulations (FCLCA). Because of this shipping was greatly delayed.

Very fast shipping, via USPS Priority, took about four business days. Contacts came shipped in a nice 4in x 7in x 2.5in package--which can hold up to 12 Acuvue2 boxes inside--fit nicely in my small P.O. Box. Items came in great condition.

Had problems with Fat Cash. Will be contacting the customer service to hopefully resolve this problem.

Customer support was unacceptable. They advertise on their site that they have the item in stock even though it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. They then wait 6 days to email me to let me know that they cancelled my order due to product unavailability. 6 DAYS!! That's just poor business practice IMO.
