WD Raptor, WD Caviar RE hard drives carry a Standard Warranty Period of five (5) years. Western Digital Mobile and External Hard Drives carry a Standard Warranty Period of 1 year.

This is a retail kit, so that info doesn't apply.

This is an excellent hard drive and gets outstanding reviews. Just as an FYI, Newegg has the this same hard drive for $90, plus $4.99 for 3 day shipping. It may be cheaper than the Outpost deal for those of us that don't live in states that Newegg taxes, plus the shipping is quicker.

Have it at zipzoomfly oem version w/ 3 year warranty for 89.99 as well. free ship better deal for people who are not ebayers and don't need retail packaging to make them happy.
