Here is the deal.
Dell is offering a sweet deal to whom bought the XPS 700. Upgrade to the new mobo
when it comes out on the XPS 800 later this year + optionally 25% off quad core CPUs
when bouch from the Dell accessories and periphearal web site.
Note the on-site installation is included. Upgradign the mobo will most likely encopass

The nice part the upgraded system will to all accounts equivalent to new XPS 800 machine. Or so that is what the BIOS will say, that's the way the system will identify itself and will be warranted and serviced. I'm suggesting that Dell will realize that having to upgrade the system one by one on-site will not be sensical and will happen to swap 700s for 800s
I think it's a good play but don't know how many 700s are left in the outlet.
