I was in a local Discovery Channel Store this evening and everything is currently 10-30% off. Store clerk informed me they are being liquidated but will continue selling through their website. Good chance to get stuff on the cheap.

Not a good chance to get stuff cheap. Stuff has been sold in place to a liquidator. Standard titration down of prices from full retail. By the time the discounts get steep, nothing good is left. Waste of time.

Many Discovery stores have already been closed.

That is true mine are all gone, which is a shame since they had the friendliest employees. (At least whenever I visited any of their B&Ms) Heck I used to pay a couple of dollars more there instead of going online just because the service there was top-notch.

Agreed - the most friendly and helpful employees but hugely overpriced stuff. Most of the stuff they sell can be had 15-50% lower online sometimes even from their own website.
